She's nine and a half years older than me. She's an adult! But she still treats me like dirt. Whenever she does something wrong, she just turns around and laughs at herself, and I don't say anything about it. But when I do something wrong, she has to stab me in the heart! She always has to have what she wants! One time she wanted me to go to WalMart with her. But I was really tired. So I gently said no, I kinda just want to stay here. And she stormed out of the house yelling that everyone in the family was lazy and never wanted to do anything! For the littlest things she says things to me that our family doesn't consider "appropriate." I don't think it's fair. She always has to be better at everything. Once I made an accomplishment that I was really excited about. I was excited to tel her, but when I did she was just like: "Oh great." In a dull voice. Why is she like this? What can I do to make her stop?

that's sisters for you! you have to stop reacting to her. Don't even show that you're annoyed by her. The more quiet and monotone you are towards her and her comments, the more she'll realize that she can't get to you. It may take awhile-she'll probably get ticked by your not responding to her, but just keep at it. Don't ask her any questions, don't share your accomplishments with her because right now your "older" sister is acting like the younger one in your family.

maybe she is jealous of u, maybe she is selfcentered, mayb she is just a bigolebitch. either way u dont have to take it.. tell her bout it sometime. i mean really yell at her n tell her that she is a the biggestbiatch u know n that she should be ashamed of herself ..that u are her sister n u use to look up to her but u have come to realize that if growing up to be-a-biatch like her is wht is gonna happen then ud rather not be anything like her. and if she wants to treat someone like crap anymore then do it to someone else. bc ur done with it n her. then walk off.

Sounds like she has a case of OCD. Everything for her is serious. I think if everyone in your family communicated with her and told her how you all felt about her attitude, maybe she might realize and change her emotions. In all honesty its sometimes difficult to change someone's attitude altogether.

If you love her and I know you love your sister, tell her exactly what you have told us. Print out your question and give it to her. Tell her, Sis I've been asking QA on Yahoo about you, but I decided to just give the question to you. Tell her that you love her because she's your sister but you don't understand her.

Get her to a doctor & see if he can prescribe her Zoloft. It will stabilize her moods & make her a more pleasant person.
