When the city wasn't founded until 1910?

Prior to the modern revisionist history that latched onto the modern city name, she was considered a prostitute by the Church.

Well, perhaps the city was named for an old family, or an old village. Or perhaps it had a meaning in Hebrew then, whether or not it does now, which would explain it.

Maybe the town that was founded in 1910 was named after Mary!

She was called a prostitute by one of the very early popes in order to discredit her. He took the prostitute scripture and put it together with scripture about her to try to make it appear she was a prostitute. Those two scriptures were about two completely different women. As a woman, she needed to be discredited or women might get in their heads they had a place in the church, which was a real no-no at that time, especially in the newly established catholic church.

The area she came from was an area commonly known by that name at that time. I'm guessing you already know that.

That's just a coincident being such a similar name. Migdal has nothing to do with Mary

This is why I've always said that if more bible-literalists took a few minutes to check the facts, they might actually understand why intelligent people call them misguided.
