im a natural red head with freckles? cud i tan if i used sunbeds? i wear fake tan all the time,
but if i started usin them wud they wrk in any way?? thanks

i wouldn't suggest real tanning for fair skinned folks OR tanning beds. Besides, it does a lot of damage to your skin (both treatments) and you could get melanoma.
I'd stick to the fake tans its the safest choice.

My very educated guess is that you would fry and burn in a tanning bed! Tanning beds are dangerous as it is, and can even cause skin cancer in the same way natural tanning would. It's even worse for fair skinned women. In my opinion, redheads should avoid them. You know what it's like when you are outside for too long and you turn red, itch, maybe even blister and peel? Not pleasant, huh? Well, the same thing (or worse) will happen to you in an artificial light. Now, it's your body so you make the decision, but I reccommend sticking to fake tan in a bottle if you absolutely must.

I'm a redhead, too. No, sun beds will not work. Stay out of the sun because your skin is thinner and will wrinkle easier. Look around at the natural redheads when you see them...they will have more wrinkles and look older than other people their age especially if they have tried to tan. It accelerates the problem. Use the fake spray and stay out of the sun. Your friends will understand and they will hate you when you are 40 with no wrinkles and they will look like old hags.

you do and you are a fool. Redheads and blondes are both at high risk for skin cancer, and all tanning beds are are sources of beta radiation. You want skin cancer in twenty years, use a tanning bed. You want to look ten to fifteen years older than you are in five years, use a tanning bed.
Take pride in your fair skin and leaving the tanning of skins to those who produce leather.

yes they would work but especially if uve got freckles and fair skin, its very very dangerous and u should stick to fake tan.
nevertheless, if u still decide to go, make sure u wear loads of sunblock.
