I bet not I person can give you a decent answer, because there is no proof whatsoever of the existence of any god. If god expects me to have blind faith, then why give me an open mind and the power of rational thought. Or maybe its a sin to use it and of course I will burn in hell for eternity.

Happily, I don't have to prove anything and nothing I say will change your mind, or anyone else's, for that matter. But it's an interesting question, and has been asked many times over thousands of years. Why is this? Why are people so preoccupied with the idea of God?
The very fact that you have asked this question (and that so many people have answered) suggests that human kind is vastly superior to animals because (a) we have the ability to think and (b) we have the ability to ask. Now where did that come from, I wonder? Dare I suggest it comes from our creator? Just go away and have a wee think about that.
How come humans have had an urge to worship something, anything, since they first set both feet on the planet? How come the planet (and humans) got here - by accident? Just look around you, my friend, and keep asking questions, only you may be directing a perfectly good question to entirely the wrong audience. Lift your eyes up.

u know when ur most in need, when someone in ur family (god forbid) is in danger, or in emergency, and u know nothing in the world would helo, nothing ever ver ver, u close ur eyes and u know that there is the one that understands u and will listen to ur prayers, if ur worthy of it, u promise god that u will become a good worshipper and everything, and u feel deep within u that there is one to whome u direct ur prayers, not three, or a trinity or whatever.
u know that there is one god outthere.
beside, if u read the quran u know that it represent the true past, the factual present and foretells teh future, and nothing no science or anythning has ever proved it worng, but in fact it supported it.
when ur honest and sincere , god will show u the proofs, proofs that none but u will understand. u will think and beleive somehting, and pray for soemthing, and when it happens u know that its god who gave u a second chance, and not just a medical success or a medical miracle.
ull know it when god wants it to happen. that is why there is heaven and hell, it depends on u, ull have to research and opne ur heart

I'd tell how it was my faith that has gotten me through the hardest times of my life, how prayers were answered, how things that had to be more than coincidence have happened to me, and I'd probably say something like this: God is like the wind......you can t see Him, but you can feel him, and see His work. Plus, God is based on love. It's His very nature. While God is a just God, he has love for each of us that we could never fathom. It even says in the Bible that He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should have everlasting life. And a true Christian has love like that. They love all people. It doesnt mean they like the things that the other people have done, but they minister to those people in love. A true Christian also does not force things on other people. We just show them that we care, and that God cares. That's all we can do, besides prayer. And whoever says prayer doesnt work has either never prayed at all, or has prayed doubting God's power, or has prayed for something that is not God's will. I know myself that prayer does work. The Lord has proved himself to me over and over, even though He didnt have to. Also, remember in the Bible, when Elijah was talking to the pagans, and they said that their God was the real God, and they asked him to prove that His God was the real God? The pagans did all the rituals they could to get their God to send fire to consume their sacrifice, and nothing happened. Elijah prayed once, and the Lord sent fire from Heaven.

Look in a mirror................
What do you see?
What you see IS a Creation of Our Creator - God...
You, me, all of Humanity, Life...
is a Creation of Our Creator - God !
Here's HOW you can understand that what you just read is the Truth...
Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs.
Once You have Created Your Relationship with Our Creator, then You will know that Our Creator exists... and be on the Path Home, to Heaven !
<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!
Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!
"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.
atheists = all the people in religion = all the ignorant fundamentalists = all the cults/superstitions = paganism

Occam's Razor -- 'All things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be the best one.' Upon applying Occam's Razor to this question, "Can something bring itself into existence?" the simplest answer would be "No."
If God exists then the logical question to ask is, "Who created God?" That would only lead to, "Then who created the who that created God?" and so on, and so forth. This would lead to an infinite number of regressions which cannot be because the universe isn't infinite, as scientists would say.
Scientists say that the universe began some 13 billion years ago, that that was the start of everything. That would mean that God would have to have been created after that period. God would also be bound by time and the confines of the universe. But, there's a problem in that presumption.
According to Occam's Razor, the simplest answer to the question, "Can something bring itself into existence?" has to be "No." This means that there would have to be something or someone who existed prior to the existence of the universe, so, in order to get the answer of "Who created God?" there would have to be an infinite number of regressions in the past. For example, the numbers 1-10. In order for us to reach ten we would have to cross the boundaries of one to reach two, cross the boundaries of two to reach three, etc., until we reach ten.
Now in order for us to get to the present we would have to cross an infinity of regressions, or boundaries, which is impossible because infinity has no boundaries -- it cannot be crossed. And since infinity has no boundaries and cannot be crossed, and based on the premise that something cannot bring itself into existence, then an Uncaused Cause is the only logical answer.
In otherwords, God didn't come from any particular place, nor was God created or just happened to show up on the spot. God always existed and brought the things that we see (stars, planets, etc.), and the things we don't see (an individual atom, etc.) into existence.
And to rule out that "something" created the universe we have to look at the laws that was placed and set in motion within the universe. Within those laws -- the law of gravity, the law of reciprocity, etc. -- there is order; and order cannot come out of chaos and it cannot come about by accident nor by chance, it has to be implemented.
For example, if I had a handful of quarters and tossed it in the air, what is the chance of me tossing those quarters in the air and have it come down stacked upon each other, heads up, the words 'United States of America' aligned, with the dates from lowest to highest all in order? The chances of that is zero. None.
Order cannot come out of chaos and it cannot come about by accident nor by chance, an intelligent mind has to implement that order.
So basically, it all comes down to the question stated earlier, "Can something bring itself into existence?" Remembering Occam's Razor, the answer is simply "No."

Well for me its the bible itself! 66 books written by about 40 different people , took about 1,000 years to write with a space of 400 years between the old and new testement and yet all tells the same story with no contradictions. Weather you believe it or not its there in black and white.

Nobody can except faith , that's the bottom line . Religious people have , atheist don't . Atheist think we're crazy for having faith , we think atheist are crazy because they need physical proof ( or best theory thereof )
Different questions , same answers

You can't with the limits you placed. The limits you placed ARE our proof. But since you and I know others aren't going to like my answer, try this:
The only way life expands is through reproduction; (sex, if you will). That means for pretty much 98% of the earth...two beings. Since this is the ONLY way we expand, there had to be two people to start it off.
And don't give me crap about "evolution" because something had to be created first to even evolve into something else.
Not to mention, WE don't prove God. GOD proves himself. And he already has yet people STILL don't believe. He proved himself through Christ Jesus.

I know God exists but I don't have to prove it. I found out in 1991 and have been a Christian since. If you seek in the right way you may well find Him for yourself!
Best wishes, Mike.
