My puppy is a male-german shephard. He has very soft hair and a lot of hair more than that of a normal german shephard. His paws are very big but his eyes are very innocent and small.

When I name a pet, I try to find a name that say something about it's personality or looks.
Example, we have a wild rabbit in the back yard. Been watching it grow from a baby. The left ear is broke or something as it not stand up. I was talking with a friend from Poland and said; "I want a name that say something about the ear" May use a Polish name like "Lewy Ucho" (Left Ear if I spelled correct).
She said, why not name him Uszatek? :-o What the heck is a Uszatek I ask?
Go to the polish wiki link I give and look at the left ear in the pic.
http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mi%C5%9B_Uszatek
The name is perfect. Now if I can figure out how to pronounce it. LOL!

Pick something you love. I had a shephard I named Dallas (after my football team). I just had to put him down on Friday after 12 years. Enjoy every minute even when they are annoying, best friend you will ever have!!!

I always name my puppies based on their personality. For example I have a pet that followed my child every step she took so the cat is named shadow. always pick a name that fits the dog.
