Sorry ot hear about your discomfort. It could be that your chest pains are a result of you tensing up your body when you have these shooting pains in your lower back and that your muscles have gone into spasm.

I would as previously suggested get in touch with HNS direct if you are unable to speak to your own doctor. They will advise you.

I hope the your problems are soon resolved and that the back pain does not get too severe. If you start to get pains down the front of your legs (front) contact your doctor immediately. Do not leave it thinking it will go away on your it's own because it won't believe me.

They probably are not connected, but it would take a doctor to be almost exactly sure!
It sounds like you could have what my doc told me I've got. Bulging discs. If a nerve in your spine is impinged by it, it can cause the shooting pain.
You might need an MRI to know for sure.

I sincerely hope you can get this resolved soon.

As for the chest pains, they are something you shouldn't mess around with; go to the doctor or even emergency room if you are having any symptoms of a stroke or heart attack.

Lower back pain can be caused by anything from trauma to poor sleeping position. You should see a chiropractor and take up stretching.

the spine is where all of the nerves connect. So it is possible that your back problem is now causing nerve pain in the chest. This happens frequently for people. I advise you to see your medical doctor as soon as possible, you want to make sure this is not a heart problem. Also you're going to need to see a physical therapist to help you with the back problem.
