1. Cut all fast food out of your diet. No Pizza Hut, McDonalds, KFC, etc....
2.. Eat salad for lunch every day with no fat or low fat dressing. No cheese on it and have mostly veggies and maybe some tuna, lean ham or turkey on it and dont eat anything else, but the salad.
3. Eliminate pop. Only drink iced tea with splenda or water or skim milk.
4..Eat salads before your main meal with no fat or low fat dressing. This will fill you up and make you eat less of the fatty foods
5. No chips, cheeto's, cup cakes, or snack junk food.
6. Eat only 1 serving of the main entree. Do not return for more and also make sure the serving is accurate. For example, Dont eat 3 cups of spaghetti with sauce. Eat only 1 serving size and only at the table. Dont eat in front of the TV. or while your at your computer.
7. Drink a large glass of ice water before every meal, so you are less inclined to eat more than your share.
8. Walk and walk and walk somemore. Start shooting hoops with a basketball or roller skating. Decline rides to places such as your school or where ever you can walk.
9. Get active. Start playing tennis, baseball, going to the pool, riding a bicycle every day. Jog from your house to the end of the block and then increase your distance every day, and before you know it you will be jogging a mile.
10. When you walk, swing your arms and walk a little faster than usual.
11. Cheat once in awhile on the diet so you dont feel discouraged and give up.
GOOD LUCK!!!

What you could try is to stay away from "bad" carbs for at least two weeks. Carbs make a person's body hold onto water weight and turns into "bad" fats. Also, you need to stay away from sugar containing foods. Even diet soda's make a person retain water (the carbonation in the drinks). Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Only eat lean meats once per day. (The portion of meat that you eat needs to be no larger than the size of a deck of playing cards.)

Introduce more greens into your diet. (Salads, green leafy veggies, etc etc.) Instead of using a store bought dressing for your salads, make your own out of balsamic vinaigrette.

Stay away from potato's and white breads. You can go back to eating bread and potato's after about two weeks of strictly being away from them. But when you do go back to eating bread and potato's, make sure that it is whole wheat bread and not white, and use red potato's instead.

You can try to purchase the south beach diet book at walmart or any gnc store. This diet is based off of a Mediterranean way of eating. Which by far, is the best way to eat.

You also need to include 3 days per week of cardio exercises and 2 times per week strength training. When you do your cardio, do it for at least 45 minutes each time...this includes jogging, walking at a quick pace or aerobic exercises.

Strength training could be done by lifting 5-10 pound dumbbells. Push ups will help to build your pectorial area if done right. It will take about two weeks of religious dieting and excercising for you to lose at least 3-5 lbs.

Since you are sill a youngin' I would advise you to talk to your Dr before starting this diet or any other diet. Be sure you take a mulitvitamin with iron, so that you do not get worn out...good luck and God bless....Kimmie

Exercises:
-cardio! This is the best way to lose weight! Its not about the amount of time you do but how hard you work when your doing it. You'll get better results from 20min of hard cardio then you will with an hour of walking.
(try running, jogging, swimming, biking, rollerblading, speed walking)
-push ups
-crunches
-bench press
-lunges
-squats
-bicep curls
-calve raises
-pull ups

Good Food:
-veggies (lots):any kind just eat a lot!
-fruit
-protein:eat stuff like fist and chicken...lean meats
-good carbs:make sure they are whole grains not white breads

Bad Food:
-Anything processed
-sugary treats
-chocolate
-pop
-fast foods

Your diet is gonna be the make or break thing in losing weight! You need to make sure you eat proper if you want to lose weight other wise all your exercises will get canceled out.
Good Luck

Walk 2 minutes jog 1 minute, walk 2 minutes jog 1 minute, for 30 minutes at least 4 times a week, and any other exercises you can do. STAY AWAY FROM FRIED FOODS.....eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and no more than 3 portions of meat, not pork, a day. Deserts and sweets WILL put on pure FAT!!!! Choose light milk 1% is fine, but if you like skim it's better. Last but not least....eat in PORTIONS around 6x a day!!!HAVE FUN

well, I am currently on a diet and replace one meal (dinner) with a shake. In the shake I include the following:

1. Blueberries (filled with antioxidants)
2. Strawberries
3. Banana ( fill you up)
4. SKIM MILK ( helps you digest)
5. Teaspoon of Honey
6. Grapefruit ( a great source of FAT BURNER)

Just make enough for one cup and I guarantee you would be satisfied and hopefully start shedding off those unwanted pounds! I wish you luck!!! :)

Drink a lot of water. Water is essential to the chemical recation that burns fat in your body. Without it, it isn't hapenning. The more water you drink, the more weight you will lose.

Avoid eating a lot of salt and try not to eat carbs late in the day (like, after lunch), and things with MSG in them (like chineese food) are pretty bad. The MSG causes you to retain all that sodium and such and you actually gain weight. Eating a lot of salad with low fat-low sodium dressing is a good idea too.

I recommend Dr. Perricone's 10 "SuperFoods" that aid Acne, Weight Loss, and Wrinkles. You can learn more about them on Oprah.com or on Leptovox.com

They really work amazingly good. Basically the foods are Super Fruits, whole grains, and vegetables. But they all pack a diet "Whallop"

When dieting try keeping it simple. Anything that comes from the earth is good for you. Anything that comes packaged is normally not. Stay away from fast foods...period. Stay away from sweet cereal, cookies or just about anything with tons of sugar. Like I said if it doesn't come out of the ground or is man made it's usually the cause of a bad diet.

Based on your height and weight, you aren't too big yet for an intensive exercises and diets. My advice is to jog every morning and eat fruits and veggies. That will help.
