This was my first time using PhotoShop and I followed a tutorial.

turned out really cool...
but the eyes seem "too" much. fake.
make it lighter. and add aqua blue with 50% opacity. and play around with Selective Colors. (Layer> Layer Adjustment> Selective Colors).
You'll get the proper greenish-blue eye color.

Maybe you did too much. She no longer looks real. This plastic look is in, (maybe not quite so plastic) for the young child model portfolios, so I guess you are on the right track. No one would believe that this girl really looks like that. So if you want just an enhanced version, which still looks real, then you've gone too far, with both the smoothing and the eye color. I would try again and back off a bit with the intensity of the corrections. See which you like better.

The skin on the finished product lookes just a little fake and a little too smudged. Make it look a bit more realistic.
But for a first timee, that's a GREAT GREAT job!

The model's skin looks so much better. The lighting and angle are awesome in both. I say thumbs up.
