Yes of course we do. Men have to be covered from the waist to just below the knee and children wear normal swim wear. Women can get special swimwear that is modest and covers all but thin and comfortable enough to swim with.
There is no issue we are all free to enjoy the sun, sand and water.
It was not offensive in any way and i hope i have answered it for you. Peace to you.

Well, swimming at a beach or lake isn't that important to actually do. In Muslim countries there are some 'women only' swimming pools, and thats where they can go swimming. Personally, i dont think those 'islamic swimsuits' are actually acceptable since any type of clothing upon becoming wet, sticks to the body and that wouldn't be acceptable islamic dress. So at a beach or lake, women usually dont swim (unless they dont care) but its wrong for them to do so. They swim at womens only pools, or if they have one at home no problem in enjoying it in the luxury of your own home you know what i mean? Feel free to email me with any Islam related questions you might have :)

I am a Muslim girl living in America, and let me tell you, I LOVE going to the beach! Your question is not at all offensive. I usually wear thin pants like PJ's and a long-sleeved T-shirt. I enjoy the beach a lot. What you have to understand is that as Muslims, covering ourselves is not something we see as a burden; it's a choice. It is required, but it is still something we choose to do, the best way I can explain this is: In Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, premarital sex is prohibitted, but some people do it anyway--same thing, it is required, but it's still a choice. To answer the question--I love going to the beach, and it's not uncomfortable at all!

Modesty & shyness is a very important part of Islam. Its like a invisible shield protecting us.Anything that breaks that shield is haram(forbidden). Its not because that muslims arent allowed to enjoy this world. Its bcoz they shouldnt end up doing zina(adultery) and they shud live their life the way Allah(swt) wanted. If u think enjoying in the beach means taking a public bath in a swimwear in the ocean, then its haram.
I go to beachs too. I like spending my time in the cool breeze watching the blue ocean. This is my kind of enjoyment in the beach,I never ever preferred bathing in public.
I m happy the way I m.
I hope I gave u a good answer

I think the muslim women may be go to the beach, but in the belief that they must cover their skin. Of course, this is just my personal opinion, but you can talk with other muslim friends, there are many muslim friends here.

If a Muslim woman wants to go to a beach and actually wear a swimsuit she will find a private beach to utilize. Otherwise, she will wear her normal clothing and probably not swim.

will we do enjoy the beach like you ...but the only different is that we're not mixed like you are..
i mean girls swim in a private or away from guys and we shouldn't show or wear those skimpy swimwear infront of guys...unless if you were married it's ok ofcourse to swim with your husband or with your kids...
and for men i think it's ok for them to wear whatever they want to swim with
but they can't swim with girls they don't know them but they can swim with thier sis or thier mother or daughters...
hope every thing is clear to you dear
and peace
