He has leukemia (idk if i spelt it right) and the doctor said he won't live for more than half a year but we werent expecting it to be this soon. For the last couple of days he's just been laying in the same spot, but today he doesn't want to move AT ALL, he isnt eating, and he's been going to the bathroom on himself. We'd take him to the vet but theyre closed today. He's having trouble breathing and he just gave out 3 loud meows, idk if its because of pain or the trouble breathing. I dont expect for him to live, but is there anything I can do?

There's not a lot you can do for him at home. Your vet must have an emergency number (by law), so call and see if they left a number on their answering service. Also, check your phone book for an emergency hospital. Your cat is suffering and the last thing you need to do for him because you love him is to let him go peacefully.

See if you can find an emergency vet in your area. Use www.yell.com to look your area up. Natural death is not usually pleasant for any animal, euthanasia is a quick and peaceful way to go.
I'm afraid there isn't much you can do else - if you can't find a 24 hour vet in your area then all you can really do is provide the cat a warm bed in a quiet room and don't fuss him, let him be peaceful. Don't make him eat if he doesn't want to.
Sorry to hear this, hope you can find an emergency vet

Sounds like this is his last day. I went through this with my two cats. Its always better to euthanize a cat with leukemia but it sounds like you won't be able to do it. Its gonna be hard. Stay with him and comfort him. Talk to him and he will really appreciate you being there. Trust me on this. My cats did not want to be alone when they died. It will be over soon. He may be restless and uncomfortable so be prepared. The end may be somewhat difficult for him but will not last long. Sorry to hear it. With leukemia this late in the game, all you can do is give your love.

I really feel bad for you guys! I'm sorry your cat's going to pass.
All you can really do is make him really comfortable and talk to him a lot... maybe pet him but he may not want to be touched. You would just have to see how he feels.
Just reassure him a lot by saying "you're a good boy" and tell him how much you love him.
I know it sounds a bit corny but he'll understand your tone more than anything.
I went through a similar experience but my cat had kidney failure. He seemed to appreciate the time I spent with him at the end.
Main thing is to comfort your cat today. And tell him you'll be okay if he wants to 'leave' today.
So sorry for you and your kitty. Good luck with it all.

If you think he might die before you can get him to a vet. Put him in his spot that he always lay in. Make sure there is canned food ( it would be easier for him to eat) and plenty of water that he can reach without moving to get to it. There isn't much you can do. Just make him as happy as you can and comfortable as he can be. But also try to spend as much time with him as you can. It will show you haven't given up on him and you are there for him. Talk to him keep him company.

Look in the phone book to see if the is a 24 hour emergency vet office in your area. They most likely would be open today and could help you out.

I'm so sorry, I know it is hard to watch your pet suffer. Try feeding him tuna fish, hold it on your fingers and let him lick it off. Stay with him and talk to him, comfort him but don't pick him up if you can help it - probably very uncomfortable for him to move. Keep him clean and get him to the vet first thing in the morning.

Immediately call your veterinarian and schedule an appointment.... IMMEDIATELY. Let him or her diagnose the PRESENT CONDITION and if necessary... .you need to say your goodbyes and let the veterinarian humanely put your dear "family member" to eternal rest. I know it is hard.. .however when a pet's quality of life dwindles that far and they might be in pain / discomfort... we as their "parents" need to be sympathetic and not at all selfish.
I know you have the intent of keeping your little friend around as long as possible as you love him and can remember all of the great loving times when you played with him and he was young, and full of life. Life has changed for your little pet.... it may be time to say your goodbyes and let him pass from this life with as little more discomfort as possible
I have been there.... it is a difficult thing to do. But the right choice. I will say a prayer for you and for your cherished family member.
