I like punch bowl cakes, and 4 layer pie desserts. A basic punch bowl cake is just a cake crumbled up and layered with pudding and cool whip. I made one the other day using a boxed chocolate cake mix prepared according to the package directions. I crumbled it up. I took 2 boxes of chocolate mocha instant pudding and mixed them according to their package directions, but I also added an 8-ounce tub of the cheesecake flavored cream cheese to the pudding and mixed it well. I started with cake at the bottom of the bowl, then put 1/2 of the pudding, then half a tub of Cool Whip. I then sprinkled some Heath toffee bits (found in baking section of grocery store) on top and repeated the layers. Here's a variation of a 4 layer dessert: First Layer: 3 cups powdered sugar 2 cup flour 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 2 sticks butter, softened 2 cups chopped pecans Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Begin by greasing a 9 x13 by 2-inch pan. Using a bowl, stir together the confectioners' sugar and flour. Using a pastry cutter or fork, cut the cream cheese and butter into the flour mixture until crumbly. Press the mixture into the pan evenly. Pour the nuts over the pressed dough and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the pan from oven and allow to cool completely. Second Layer: 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 1 cup powdered sugar 1 cup Cool Whip Mix together and spread evenly over the cooled crust. Third Layer: 2 small packages instant chocolate (or your favorite flavor) pudding 3 1/2 cups milk 1 teaspoon vanilla Mix until thick and spread over cream cheese layer. Fourth Layer: Just spread the remaining Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with shredded chocolate, toffee bits, or chopped pecans. Chill for several hours before serving.

raspberry sorbet dessert
2 cups raspberry sorbet or sherbet (I used President's Choice fat free raspberry gelato and it worked great)
1 cup cold milk
1 (106 g) package instant vanilla pudding (or try chocolate for an extra special treat!)
3 cups Cool Whip, thawed
1 cup raspberries
1. Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with foil, spoon sorbet into pan and put in the freezer for 10 minutes.
2. Pour milk into a large bowl and add dry pudding mix. Whisk until well blended and fold in whipped topping.
3. Spread pudding mixture over sorbet in pan.
4. Freeze for at least 3 hours or ovenight. Wrap securely and label if freezing longer than 24 hours.
5. Unmold loaf pan onto a serving platter and top with fresh raspberries just before serving. It will be easier to cut if it rests for 15 minutes.

In a blender mix 1 frozen banana (I stock up when they are on sale and peel and quarter them before freezing), 1 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk , and 2 tablespoons Hershey's syrup (or more depending on your personal taste)...blend until smooth. This is for 1 serving, You can enlarge this to the limits of your blender. The results are a very yummy chocolate/banana shake. Sometimes I make this as a breakfast shake replacing the syrup with soy protien powder.

1 package of instant vanilla pudding (3.8 oz. box)
1 container of Cool Whip frozen topping
1 can of crushed pineapple in its own juice
1 store bought or homemade Angel Food cake
In a large bowl, mix vanilla pudding mix with Cool Whip until creamy. Stir in crushed pineapple and juice. Refrigerate for one hour. Serve over slices of Angel Food cake!
I don't know the name of this dessert but I always make in the summertime and even use fat-free pudding and whipped topping to make it a "lighter" version. It's easy and delicious!!

This isn't something that you make, but it is delicious, refreshing and not filling. It's called the Wattamelon Roll from Friendly's. It's made with sherbet (the flavors are watermelon, lime and lemon) and chocolate chips. It looks just like a watermelon and the whole family loves it.

During summer, my favorite summer dessert is raspberry sorbet. At Trader Joes, they have tons of different flavors that you can choose from. They are healthy and enjoyable.

Cut up strawberries and kiwis. Mix them. Add flavoured yougurt (not too much, just to dress it not to drown).
The a scoop of the fruits and a scoop of any frozwn yougurt.
Try this, and if someone doesn't like it then blame me:P

Purchase a pie shell or use pre-made sugar cookie dough to bake a crust. Mix cream cheese and cool whip. Spread over the shell or cookie crust. Top with sliced fruit: bananas, kiwi, strawberries, etc. I make this for picnics and everyone loves it. It is a very pretty desert too.
