$0 dollars would be a reasonable amount.

You can't make money out of a dog you just found, don't be ridiculous! Even if you don't care about other people, think that you could get sued if anyone's silly enough to buy a dog with no medical history whatsoever and then it turns out it's got a disease.

Do the decent thing and take the dog to the local rescue shelter so they can get it checked over properly - the dog probably belongs to someone, it might have a microchip and then you'll be in the sh*ts if you sell it.

I think it might actually be illegal not to notify the proper authorities when you find a stray dog, you might want to consider that.

What kind of shape is the dog in? Have you made any effort to find it's owners? You might want to take the dog to a vet or the animal shelter and asked to have it scanned for a chip. (a lot of pure breed dogs have a small chip inserted between their shoulders with the owners information) Could be a reward for finding the dog.
I don't think many people will pay much money for a dog without papers.

Whoa first things first. Have you called your local police department and surrounding shelters, checked newspapers? This dog may already have a home. Have you done a temperament test? The last thing I would want is to sell a 1 yr old dog and it bite someones child the next day. That could bite you in the butt.
If you are bound and determined to sell this dog go and get his/her shots updated then I'd look for about 100 dollars. If not less the idea is to find this dog a home right.

Did you just find it? Contact animal control and the humane society in your area to see if anyone reported losing a dog. I wouldn't try to sell someone elses pet without trying to find it's home first! I wouldn't think many people would pay for a 1 year old stray rottie. Finding it a good home is more important than trying to sell it.

Found? Where, in the owner's backyard? Why would you want to sell a dog right off the bat unless something is shady here? If it was truly lost and you found it, have you made any attempt to find the owner?

The dog is not yours to sell. Have you even tried to locate it's owners??? You should not be thinking about selling it, but instead finding a way to reunite it with it's family. That's the moral thing to do.

Show quality rottweilers sell for about 850-$1000 that is with papers though. If I were you I would ask for a re-homing fee of about $250 anymore than that just does not really seem reasonable.

you might want to makes sure that it is not someone else dog first. see if he/she is good with comands. If you have the dog more than a couple of weeks go for it. ($250. $1000). but my suggestion would be to take it to a trainner first. everyone loves to get a dog that is Trained, you could add the cost of the training in it too.
