I am half filipino and half american indian. People, even guys, tell me I am unique and pretty, but they wont date me. Is it because Im mixed??? Should I worry, or will I meet the right person? Is it so bad to be mixed?

You shouldn't have a problem if you live in the U.S. Sure, your chances of finding someone are higher in big cities where there is a mixture of large amounts of people with cosmopolitan interests (New York, L.A. etc.) -- than in homogenous small towns where they "don't look kindly on outsiders."
That being said -- I don't think it's much of an issue anymore
anywhere, especially for people born in the eighties or later. The culture of miscegenation is a thing of the past. Personally, I think that a lot of the hottest babes running around are biracial. For example, Chilli from TLC is East Indian/African American. Jessica Alba is half Mexican/half French/Danish. I know there are plenty more out there that I am forgetting.
You might want to consider other reasons why a guy might not be willing to date you, outside of your race. Ask one of your close friends who you trust, they can probably help you out the best.
Should you sit around and wait? No, that would be unhealthy. You have to consciously take steps to increase your chances of success, if you want to be successful. Good luck.

Listennn.... to ya boy. I doubt a guy is saying he want date you because you're mixed. If you a good girl then you'll find a guy who want to be with you. Being mixed is actually a good thing you get the best of two cultures and beautiful unique features of both. Maybe guys are intimidated by you and don't know how to approach you, but don't worry to much about that just continue to do what you do.

Hey, I'm biracial too and that has never been an issue. In fact, the mix of cultural traits can be very interesting. Just be yourself and be patient, the right guy for you can take years to come, but it's definetly worth the wait ;)

no.and why should you worry of what your race is.the color of your skin has nothing to do with dating.maybe this is not your time yet.someday you will find what your looking for.don't ever think that just because your biracial people don't like you.my son is biracial and a lot of girls likes him.i repeat your skin color has nothing to do with what guys want.just be patient and someone will come along.you have a lifetime a head of you to find the right one.and you will.so good luck.

I doubt if it's because you're mixed. I'm mixed and it opens up more opportunities. People see you how they want to see you. I'm black and white and there's black guys out there who will tell me they wouldnt date white women but I'm not really white and there's white guys out there who say they wouldnt date black women but mixed is not quite black so I can really date whoever. I think if you are worried about it they will notice but if you are confident they probably wont care.

It has nothing to do with the fact that you are biracial (actually biracial girls are the prettiest)

It's not because you're mixed. It's probably because of their upbringing or the fact that they don't think that you are their type, or they could just not be interested. Don't worry! You'll find someone who will love you for the person that you are!

no u shouldnt worry about it. some guys just arent willing to date someone of a diff race, eventually ull come across a guy that doesnt mind that, n im sure great things will come of it. if i really like the girls personality n thought she was pretty, id date her if she was of a diff race(im white by the way)
