Actually, not to put too fine a point on it but it's about those who fell in service to our nation. Soldiering is a fine and noble profession but I try to remember the dead today, the living in November. I have no family members currently in the service but my grandfather finally died of lung injuries sustained in WW1 (he died back in the 60s though - apparently mustard gas was nasty sort of stuff, like agent orange of it's day it could injure but not kill immediately).

The closest I have is a 19 year old nephew who's in Marine boot camp in California.
