Don't accept the man that uses you or wants a role in the bed or is on a power trip! There are nice men out there and no one deserves the jjunk that I have seen some women put up with.. "Oh I can change him", "Oh his nice most of the time".... NOT!
I had alot of lonely weekends where I ended up watching tv or out with the guys for a beer but I wouldn't date many of the women that were even chasing me. Many of them had no interests in common, smoked, drugs etc. etc. and I just would not go out with the. You can do the same. Go to a club (not a bar, there is no one at a bar worth meeting probably!) that has a hobby you enjoy. Take a class you are interested in etc. You will meet people with atleast something in common and if it turns out to be mostly women maybe they have a NICE brother.
I have also HEARD (friend of a friend...) that some eharmony and some of the more selective dating sight work ok.
Good Luck
Todd

I will write that down! I wondered if women said the same thing as men? I have heard the same thing from firemen for a whole career! One said, "I turnin' queer. I am swearing off women forever!" I wrote the date on a blackboard. It wasn't three weeks and he announced he was getting married. When I reminded him of his bold statement three weeks before, he sighed and said, "God, the sex is just too good to let her go."
From your screen name, I would say you are hanging around too many Texans. Boot scootin' and twangy voices wear on you after a while. Besides, all men are dogs and Texans are big dogs! It gets old when they mark their territory on what you thought was yours.
So, I will bet, in three weeks you will be involved with some other dog. (or the same one.) Look at your picture. Did you put that on the screen to turn men away. Looks good from here.
I hope it getsbetter, soon.
Oh, and the date is May 28

Atta gurl!! Now, get the book called "The Rules" by Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider and follow them to the letter. Do not compromise. Also read the book "He's Just Not That In To You." Both should be fairly easy to get or to order. Don't forget to read about relationships in the bible; Ruth and Boaz, for example. The bible is rich and full of wisdom.

I think that you can learn something each time you are hurt. You learn something about yourself, you are not that old at all friend and you have many gifts to offer the right man. You have stated elsewhere that you are a big believer in Karma and you just haven't found the right person yet but you will! But you can't just give up, you have to work at it. I wish you the best in life and look forward to our continued friendship. :) Jesse

You just have to find on that loves for who and what you are and does not see you as a work in progress or a new project to take on. There is someone out there that loves you, keep searching. Do not let your guard down until you know you have definitely found him. I will pray for your healing and peace!!

None, move on live and learn. Look at the pattern and see where you are going wrong. Then revamp your style.
