Chihuahua that is the dog you are looking for. I have 2 Abby who has a kick tail personality and Maddy who is happy all the time. They have both been very sick and there is alot to go through with them but so far has been worth it. Maddy had red mange but was easy to get rid of. Abby almost died a month ago and the vet still does not know what it was. They gave her fluids for 3 days. We did find out she had heart worms that was the bad news.

Pure breeds are great....But save a life and visit local pound.
If they all are 'long hair' dogs, take them to a groomer. I have a Pom and because of hair everywhere, we have him at the groomer every 6 wks.. We got him from a friend, he's been the best thing that ever walked into this house.

Adopt from the pound, they have plenty of short haired dogs that need a good home.

If you want short hair due to alergies try a schnoodle they are a little more expensive but for people who have allergies or don't want shedding this dog is perfect
