I'm 24 and never had a boyfriend but I have a lot of guy bestfriends. Does being "bestfriend material" totally make guys cross you of the "potential girlfriend" list?

Listennn.... to ya boy. Being friend material as you call it is a good thing. When most people choose a friend its based on your personality, how comfortable they are around, and how much you have together. What guy wouldn't want a girlfriend who is fun to be with and always make them comfortable to just be their self. You just have to let guys who you want to be more than friends with see you in a different light. For example look really good when you to are going to do something and he's there. Once he sees you this way unless he's stupid he'll fall for you.

It depends what type of guy it is and what type of guy attracts you personally. There are flirty guys and there are guys who just lay back and get girlfriends from girl friends. I like the laid back guys more because at least you get to know them more and you can pick out which guy friend has the qualities you're looking for. I think a relationship can't even work without getting to know the guy as a friend first. I think you're on the right track!

Not necessarily - it clearly provides the level of comfort and trust with each other.

Some guys may be attracted to you but don't think you want anything more.

Other guys may just see you as a friend - I have always found I can talk to women about "issues" easier than I can other fellas.

Good luck

It's a Maturity thing. Even at 24, deep inside you know the truth. But the truth depends on your question. "Do I want a Relationship of growth, or do I just want to not be alone?" If you truly desire more than simple companionship, you must have a friendship. Otherwise, how can you ever trust one-another?

No. Friendships that are lasting very frequently enhance the possibility of developing into a lasting romance. They do not cross you off of the potential girlfriend list!

No, it doesn't remove you from the list. But it probably moves you lower down, and reduces their attention level a bit. However there are the usual risks of not being able to go back to friends if it doesn't work etc. So make your decision carefully.

Good luck.

No, it doesn't. In fact, some guys are happy to enter the friend zone in order to have their foot in the door. It's much easier for a guy to go from friends to more than it is for a girl to go from friends to more. So although being friends may be detrimental to a guy who wants more, it's not detrimental to a girl who wants more.

The only trouble with dating a best friend is that if the relationship goes sour, your friendship can too. Youhave to decided which is more important- a relationship or a friendship.

ok you may tell him yet do no longer assume him to have faith you. He won't. i these days informed somebody a *little* little bit of what their spouse has been as much as over the previous couple of years and he flat out reported i became mendacity. even however i became there, my finished kinfolk became there for a number of it, and that i heard it on the telephone, on messages, and look at emails. He nonetheless reported i became mendacity. it extremely is perplexing for persons to settle for the actuality. now and returned you may say something, and that they gets mad of direction (by way of fact the actuality will set you loose, yet first it gets you mad!- as they say)...yet as quickly as they start up letting it sink in they could comprehend you're precise. It takes time.... He could completely no longer pay attention to you, yet it is hassle-free to tell him and be trustworthy. If she extremely is doing stuff like that he in all risk knows of already yet in basic terms does not choose to settle for it.
