I am not my wife's father and niether is she my mother.
We are equals.
When you give your better half orders, you are telling them that they are too childish to make their own decisions.
It is not only rude, but downright humiliating to have someone ordering you around.
I would never do it and would never put up with anyone doing it to me, the walking papers would be in the mail.

the day my gf gives me orders is the day that hell freezes over. its suppose to b mutual, the both need to talk it over and decide what ever theyre going to do. nobody likes to be told what to do.

yes and no. they don't like being ordered around but they like to feel looked after. it's the small things. like the traditional roles of man and wife; he provides and she runs the house. but they like to feel like they're looking after you too. eg, the manly things like DIY and opening jars lol
