i have long hair and sometimes i feel abnormal or different cause all my friends have short hair and they want

me to cut but my parents wont let ME.PLEASE help me wat should i do.

why should you cut your hair just because your 'friends' want you to?? if your hair is in good condition and has a good style, then you shouldn't listen to them. long hair is beautiful when in good condition!

Do not cut your hair just because your friends want you to! I have had long hair all my life. I've had it layered and cut to frame my face and I love it! Just the other day I was thinking how glad I was that I didn't cut it because when it's hot, I can just put it up. There is so much you can do with long hair. Short hair doesn;t give you much you work with. Besides, I think long hair is sexy. And I've noticed in all the fashion magazines, all the models have long hair. Be yourself and if all your friends have short hair and you have long, you will stand out and be noticed! Keep it long and love yourself!

I agree with the first answer about not giving in to the peer pressure. On the other hand, what do you feel is right??? Do you want to cut your hair for you, keep it long for your parents, etc. Just do what you think is right.

just because ur friends want u to cut ur hair , that doesn't mean u should... but ask urself this question... do I really want my hair long or short ? maybe if u go to a good hair stylist and get a sexy haircut , u will feel better and make ur friends jealous... as for ur parents .. they have to understand that if u r not feeling comfortable with ur hair ,,, then they should let u cut it .... try getting a nice haircut , u will feel better and confident.... good luck !!

You need to listen to your parents. Will your parents not let you cut your hair due to religious reasons? If not, I cannot understand parents who are so controlling, they even feel the need to control their children's hair style. I always let my daughters do whatever they wanted to their hair. The younger one did some crazy things with cuts and colors. In high school, she felt that her peers treated her differently and she didn't like it. She conformed to a less shocking style...albeit not traditional by my standards. It's only hair...it will grow back. With so many important issues to face to raise kids today, I hope your parents realize, this is not the hill to take a stand on.

First off, your friends are most likely jealous because they probably can't handle long hair like yours; you shouldn't get your super long hair cut short to make your friends feel better. Next, if your hair is damaged you may want to get a trim, but if your hair is healthy, than KEEP IT LONG! It's very hard to grow long, healthy hair, so if I were you I would def. def. def. keep it long! Long hair is gorgeous, but if you want to cut it, it's your decision (not your parents or friends decision!)

I am with everyone else, why should you cut your hair for your friends, because that's what sets you apart from them, and if your happy with it than keep it. (and guys will definitely look at you first in a good way, stand out)

it is good to be different it does not matter what your friends have! I have one friend named Brynne who has never gotten her hair cut other than a trim. She has the longest hair in our school and she is different, She loves it! So if you cut your hair you wont look like yourself people in your school (im assuming your in school) will look like you.

long hair is the main suitable!!!!! i don't think of it concerns if its up or down. A pony tail is gorgeous and down may be captivating. i admire brown or purple. never do the hump hair element on precise WOOOOOF
