God is good.
That probably doesn't explain it well enough for you.

God ALLOWS bad things to happen but does not CAUSE them to happen. He also does not shield us from the consequences of our own actions. Ecclesiastes says that "time and unforeseen occurrence befall us all". Not only does this scripture indicate that God does not CAUSE everything, but it also proves that our lives are NOT predestined (see also Deuteronomy 30:19)! Some things that are good are a result of following God's direction rather than divine intervention. For example, if a person, out of Godly respect for the sanctity of life, always wears a seatbelt and ends up the sole survivor of an accident, would you call that "divine intervention"? No, it was simply the result of following a Godly principle. Not to mention is James 1:13 which states, "With evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone.” 'Nuff said!

God get's blamed for more bad things than you will admit because it doesn't jibe with your question. Look up the number of times people on this forum alone ask why God allows babies to die, or hurricanes to destroy N.O. God takes the blame for every catastrophe, disaster, and tragedy, might as well get some credit for the good stuff.

Christians are not allowed to take credit for anything good that they do in life. They are taught God is the only reason they have/do anything worth while. They are also taught when something bad happens you must have messed up or you didn't pray enough , etc, etc. Big picture, PLEASE. Or the big one, Satan is screwing with you, you're under attack, when things go wrong. Good and bad things happen to people sometimes by their own hand sometimes not. Our choices are what controls our lives not God or Satan.

No, you are wrong. When something bad happens the first thing people say is:
How could God let this happen?
Why did God let this happen to me?
Where was God when this was going on?
Where was God when that child was taken?
Why can't God, if he knows everything, tell us where the child is?
The list is endless depending on the circumstances.

God is the one who determined the good and bad things. so, we have to be grateful and thanks Him for the good thing and be patient when something bad happen. sometimes He test us with ease and sometimes He burden us with something bad to test whether we are able to cope with it. from Him we come and to Him we'll be returned.

Because God is only positive, therefore nothing negative can come from Him.
