ok, so here's my story...if you read any of my other questions you will know that i've been talking about this guy a couple of times. Well, now we actually are dating but the problem is that only my best friend and the guys in my class know about us. We have a very VERY small school and everyone knows everything about the other, and no one really likes this guy. They all think he's weird and stupid! But i really like him. I'm friends with the girls, but not close. They would laugh and make my life hell when i tell them! They always made fun of me for being close friends with him and teased me that i like him, and now if they find out - i dont know what they'll think of me! That i'm an even bigger loser than i already am! Oh, btw, he's my first boyfriend and im 16. How do i tell them? And how do i prevent them of making fun of me when i do?

You should never be ashamed of someone you like. This is called maturity. Apparently, you are years ahead of your shallow friends in that area.
I really dont think it is important to share your relationship with your 1st boyfriend to your friends until they are mature enough to deal with it. Just go on about your business and if they choose to share in your relationship, then thats fine, but if they dont, that should be ok too.

YOU like that guy, he is YOUR boyfriend, so why do u even care what others say, if you really like him than be brave, if anyone ask u about ur BF then answer boldly, if anyone tries to humiliate u then just answer that u like him and u don't care what others say, Do not response to their jokes or making fun, The more u respond the more they will do it. Just ignore them and keep ur relationship going, they will get tired eventually.
