If you boil tea, and add some lemon or some peach juice etc, it is not bad at all. But the commercially sold ice-teas have too much sugar and artificial flavourings, so they are as bad as the rest of the industrially made refreshments.

I think those drinks when in moderation are fine but pretty much they are like any type of soft drink they usually contain high amounts of sugar. Plus those ice teas I have heard are not proper tea beverages. So it's best just to drink occasionally.

*Try normal tea might not be as tasty however it is very good for you. Hope that helps. :)

If it is sweetened with sugar or high fructose corn syrup then it has too many calories. Most people need only 1800 to 3000 per day depending on your size and activity level.

If it is artificially sweetened, some people think there is some sort of risk if you over consume artificial sweeteners.

If it is unsweetened, (my choice) then have at it!

Better than soda, not as good a choice as unsweetened tea or water.
