He was a star in his time. unfortunately his type of humor has gone downhill in the past 20-30 years but despite that he will be missed by the older generations.

I remember him most from being on "Rowan & Martin's Laugh In" and "Hollywood Squares" and guest spots here and there on dozens of programs over the years.
Not a handsome fella, but quite a character and brought life and verve to what otherwise would be very dull shows. He had a quick wit that it was obvious was not scripted as you could see the look of shock and horror sometimes cross the host or other character's face and would struggle to get back or keep their composure and he would just roll with whatever came out of their mouths and it was always funny as all get out. Only comedians that I have seen match that sort of talent have been Chris Farley and Robin Williams.

Weird, funny man. He played the role of Jose Chung in the best episode of the X-Files, "Jose Chung's From Outer Space".

I found him to be goofy, but funny. He was smarter and more clever than most people give him credit for. His best medium was his playing on so many game shows. In films though, I didn't think much of him. He was at his best when he could be unrestrained and spontaneous. :-) ~ Jon

He was wonderful. I grew up watching 'Match Game', 'Hollywood Squares', 'Lidsville' and 'The Ghost and Mrs. Muir'. He was a big part of my childhood television watching experience.
