Rice doubles in size when it absorbs the liquid, so if you need 1.5 cups of cooked rice, you would use 3/4 cup of dry rice!

Rice will triple in volume when it is cooked, so 1.5 cup cooked is equivalent to 0.5 (one-half) cup dry rice. Be sure to use a dry measure cup, not one for measuring liquids, so you can get the top level.

IF YOU HAVE THE BOX OR BAG STILL IT SHOULD TELL YOU ON THE SIDE . OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD SAY IT IS 3/4 CUPS DRY RICE WHICH WOULD PROBABLY BE COOKED WITH 1 CUP OF WATER,AND A PINCH OF SALT.

.75 cups of dry, I believe. I am a rotten cook, but I am pretty sure that dry rice yields twice as much once cooked. You might want to check a cooking site, just to be sure, though.

It either triples or doubles, so you would either need 1/2 or 3/4 cup rice.

Why try and make it such a complicated mathematical equation?
Just add one cup of rice to two cups of boiling water and keep it simple.
