I am almost at 10% of Best Answers, so I need to change how I answer questions and "go for the gold". Maybe I'll cross into the Top Contributor status then.

My seemingly impossible goal is to move back to the States. I have lived in the UK for 8 years now and feel like it's time to go back home. However, with the state of the US economy and the fact that there's no NHS it seems like a bad idea. My hubby is in a great job with a fantastic pension and it would be pretty absurd to give that up. *sigh* I've been struggling with terrible homesickness since my daughter arrived 20 months ago. I just feel like she needs to be around some extended family. Will I ever get back home? Who knows. At the moment the answer looks like no.

Depressed now...

It took me some time to think it over, but Im positive that I want to join the Peace Corps. Since I was a kid, Ive had it in me to travel the world and help people in other poorer countries, like teach kids. I really want to become a teacher. Im not rich like Angelina Jolie to be able to do this on my own, and I have no ulterior motive. Its just something I have my heart set on. so I guess my best option is the Peace Corps after I graduate college. No one in my family is agreeing to it because I'll have to be away for a long time. The only person who's with me on this and wants to join me is my best friend but needless to say...i love her but i think shes more confident in talking about it than actually doing it. Anyway, I really hope it all works out. Thanks for reading this :)

Yes. But I know it only seems impossible. Someday it might happen, if I pray a little more and do something in that sense.
I don't feel comfortable talking about it right now.

yes. My house needs so much work. It needs to be painted, and in order for that to get done, someone has to come and do the repairs first. The front needs to be landscaped, the deck needs to be power washed and stained. The list just goes on and on. I know it's my choice that I kept this house, but as much as I hate to admit it, I need help. I try to keep sane by telling myself one thing at a time, but it all begins with just that one step. Thanks for listening. *hug*

I'd like to pay my credit cards off. While addicted to cocaine during a particularly painful marriage, my husband and I lived on the credit cards and used cash to buy drugs. Since I was the coke user, when I left him (he was the alcoholic), I took responsibility for the credit cards that were in my name.

Pass everyone of my classes this year with High Distinctions (Distinctions at least), lose 10 kilos, conquer my shyness (of public speaking), and learn to speak fluent Mandarin. All this by November this year.
