i want stop someone from claiming income tax on my social security number i do not live with them on in the country and it has been brought to my attention that this is going on.

How has this been brought to your attention? Has the IRS contacted you and claimed that you earned more income than you actually did? If not, it's not likely that someone is doing that. And if someone is, the information that you provide to the IRS will be used to track them down and stop the abuse.

contact the Social Security Administration. If you go on their website, they will give you contact info for your zip code.
