You need to get this stuff called H2Ocean. It's a piercing aftercare spray. They sell it at Hot Topic & tattoo shops. It heals it in half the time. The nose usually heals real fast, do not take the jewelry out unless your planning on letting it close up. That's what it will do, and very fast. But use the H2o before you try anything else, it's the best!!

Soreness is totally normal after all you did just shove a foreign object through your body! By the way Congrats I've had mine done for about 4 years now. Clean it according to you piercers guidelines but dont overdo it overcleaning will dry out the piercing making it hurt more and take longer to heal. Remember that piercing heal from the inside out so it takes a while. Redness for several weeks is normal as is a little soreness and some white secrection. If you think you have an infection DO NOT take out the jewelry as this could trap the infection inside making things worse inthe long run, and contact you piercer immediately. Just so you know while you may seem healed intially after 6-12 weeks it takes almost a year for cartiladge piercings to heal fully ( I know mine did).

mine hurt the next day after the piercing and for about two weeks. it'll be fully healed in about 4-6 weeks from the time it was pierced, everyone heals differently. keep washing with an antibacterial soap, and turning the stud twice a day after washing your hands. if you want to try to speed the healing process make salt water (using sea salt and tap water) and soak a cotton ball in it, then put it on your nose to soak- sea salt water is an excellent way to promote healing and help prevent infection. if you're still feeling uncomfortable- call or go see your piercer.

Good Luck!

totally normal. the intital healing period is 6-9 months but it isn't fully healed to where you can leave the jewelry out for any Length of time for 2 years. however, you can feel free to change the jewelry after 9 months. the soreness should pass in a week or so.

I believe that is a fair age. Keep in brain that any location that is FULLY valued at going to may not pierce any one who is beneath sixteen except they've a guardian to signal for you, a mum or dad won't paintings. But yeah...14 is the ideal age. A nostril piercing is not anything.

If it's not red and inflamed (indicating an infection) it's normal. Cartilage piercings do take a long time to heal and it'll be tender until it does.

Yes, it's normal. I have mine done too.
It takes about 6 months for most peircings to fully heal, and even after that, Any time you take it out for a long period of time, you run the risk of it closing. My peircer told me that some people take theirs out after ten years and it closes.

Its gonna be sore, you just got a needle shoved through your face. Clean it well and make sure you take advil or aleve. Avoid asprin, it thins your blood and could make it bleed a little.
