We are still paying for the original sin. It's how you live in this life that determines how you live in the next so watch your step....

He allows us to suffer because he loves us.

My 22 year old son bought a car he could not afford. As a loving parent I informed him that this was frivolous and unaffordable. My son basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about and he'd be fine.

One year later the car was repossessed and his credit is ruined. My son is now suffering...he is deep in debt, driving a junker of a car that has 250,000 miles on it. He is suffering.

I love him, it hurts me to see him deal with this, but it is his own doing. If I were to bail him out...what would he learn? What would he understand? No...this suffering is necessary for his overall good. I love him enough to let him struggle and suffer.

That is really a very superficial explanation. God and our salvation is has many more levels and depth...but it's a good beginning analogy. Our suffering is our own doing. God allows it because he loves us. Because in our suffering we reach out to him. We realize we need him.

There are many reasons for this in each person's life. Some of which are curses which our fore-fathers brought on family, some are the families assosiation with evil. So when evil is involved God cannot do anything. That is why though God loves Adam and Eve, His first creation, He had sent them out of His sight because they disobeyed.

But now Jesus came to re-establish all the curse and all the sin. This can be best understood when felt..

We are NOT God's children; we are His slaves.

Q60. If God is just then why are some people born healthy while some are born with defects and are deaf and dumb, some people are born in rich families while others in poor families?
Answer.
1. This life is a test for the hereafter

According to Surah Mulk chapter 67 verse 2

"He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed; And He is the Exalted in Might, oft-Forgiving." [Al-Qur’an 67:2]

2. Allaah tests different human beings in different ways

Every year the question paper in an examination keeps on changing. It does not remain the same. Similarly Allaah tests different human beings in different ways. He gives health to some people while others are born with defects or are handicapped. To some people He gives wealth, while others are poor.

3. Judgement will be based upon the difficulty of the test

Depending upon what facilities and qualities Allaah has provided to each human being, Allaah (S.W.T.) will judge him accordingly. If the test is difficult then Allaah will be lenient while judging. If the test is simple then Allaah will not be lenient while judging. A poor person does not have to give Zakaah. He gets full marks where Zakaah is concerned. On the other hand a rich person is supposed to give Zakaah. Many rich people give much less than what they actually are supposed to give, thus getting less marks (or negative marks) where Zakaah is concerned.

4. Human beings with congenital defects are a test for their parents.

Many infants are born with congenital defects. Some are deaf and dumb, while others are handicapped. An infant is not responsible for his or her defect. In such cases perhaps Allaah is testing the parents, whether they yet have faith in Him after this misfortune.

Allaah says in the Qur'ân in Surah Anfal Chapter 8 verse 28

"And know ye that your possession and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allaah with whom lies your highest reward". [Al-Qur’an 8:28]

We cause ourselves and each other to suffer. Most diseases are with us due to lack of knowledge of what makes us sick. We are responsible for the build up of toxins all around us. We smoke , drink and eat ourselves sick. We fight wars over religions and resources. Old men send the young ones out to fight and die for greedy leaders and countries. Other losses such as the death of children or loved ones in tragic circumstances - the way I see this is that before we came here we had a lifeplan. When a child dies it may be that was part of his plan for this trip and likewise for those who are left behind. This doesn't take away any of the pain involved but in my heart it is as near as I ever came to an answer.

God created us and gave us Free Agency (the ability to choose what we would do) and He will NOT take that away from us...

We were sent here to earth to get the gift of a Physical body and to be tested.. tested to see if we would be obedient and have faith in God...

We will be given Glory in Heaven according to our Judgement...

This test is not for God to know what Glories we deserve, but rather for US to know that the Judgement is Just and Right...

I believe that EVERYONE on this earth will end up in Heaven, perhaps with a few exceptions. Jesus' Atonement is infinite and He will forgive whomever He will...

Some people's suffering will be a witness against those who made them suffer...

Some people's suffering is because they have refused help from Heavenly Father, have turned away from Him and have lost the Blessings that He provides...

Some people's suffering is because they have followed Satan and have turned their backs on Jesus' Atonement...

With Jesus' help we can overcome ALL suffering.. but we are also asked to do all that we can do ourselves.. sometimes we suffer in order to grow spiritually...

God will give us anything we need to return to Heaven if we but ask in faith.

HE DID A GREAT SACRIFICE FOR US,THAT NO MEN WILL EVER HAVE,SO THAT WE MAY HAVE LIFE.
Joh:15:18: If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
Joh:15:19: If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Joh:15:20: Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Joh:15:21: But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
Joh:15:22: If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
Joh:15:23: He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
Joh:15:24: If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
Joh:15:25: But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
Joh:15:26: But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
Joh:15:27: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
GOD BLESS

As a parent I often have to watch my sons make mistakes. Some of these mistakes hurt me every bit as much as they hurt them. Also, as a parent I get to watch their triumphs and I feel a glow inside for them. I believe this is much the same for our relationship with God. If I stopped my children's mistakes how could they learn....yet, I am there to comfort, love and support them just as I believe God is there for his children who are willing to reach out to him through prayer and meditation. Each of us has a little God voice inside us that guides us, and if we listen it can protect us from harm. Often my worst pains have been due to not listening to that God voice, just as when I was a child by not listening to my parents I injured myself. I have had things happen in my life that could have caused me to question God, but rather I would like to take those things and grow as a person from them. The harder the pain the greater the lesson. Through prayer and meditation we can keep God centered in our lives.
Peace be with you.

He has a reason for everything He does.......He may allow suffering for example to test or increase one's faith and dependence on Him (Job is th best example I can think of) A diamond is formed by pressure as so is faith

God created the entire universe plus self-conscious beings like Himself. Having been given a freedom of choice, these persons eventually declared their independence from God and broke His laws; which were necessary for the good life that God planned for them. The situation became very unpleasant for God and so He had two choices. He could have exterminated them; the end, the plan failed. Or, out of His caring concern and love for them; provide a solution. He could not simply forgive anyone because He had to do something about all the injustice in the world. God pronounced a just sentence (Romans 8:1); but also provided a full pardon to all who would take it. He had to be mortal because God can not die and He had to be God because only a sinless person could pay for the sins of another. If Jesus is who He claimed to be, then it is not unreasonable for God to be bound by death! Nor is it unreasonable to suggest that He should have the power and the purpose to rise from the dead! In fact; it would be unreasonable for God to be bound by death!

If the infinite Creator wanted to communicate to all of us earthlings what He was like; how could He show us more clearly than becoming one of us? If He wanted to show us how serious the offense is, to break His moral law, how better than to forfeit His own life? And if He wanted to tell us how much He loves us, how could He do it more dramatic than dying for us?

Biblical faith is more than intellectual reasoning. It is the logical choice! Other religions have teachings about an historical person, but it is Christianity that's based on what a person did. Of all the religions, no other has left such lucid evidence of God's involvement with humanity. We can either appreciate God's way more deeply or we can stubbornly and foolishly decide to go our own way and see where the outcome will lead. Anyone wishing to make sure that he has taken the first step of faith, should confess his moral failings to God and then in his own words, thank God for sending His own Son Jesus to die for him! From that point on, trust Christ to lead and develop his worth in a way that would never had been known without Him.
