Daniel, you missed a word "the" it was in response to dd's answer. Don't assume what I believe, because you don't know what you are talking about.

I'm not an anti semite. I know the Jews did what God wanted them to do. But Piolate wanted to release Jesus and the Jews wanted to kill him. So the Romans killed him, but it was encouraged by the Jews.

You are correct. No one would gain from such a lie.
The Apostles (all but one) died horrible deaths as martyrs. Many Christians were tortured and killed because they would not renounce their beliefs.
In the few years following the resurrection, 5000 were converted to Christianity. That's a huge number, and right there in Jerusalem where it all happened. Where the evidence was there...many knew of the crucifixion, anyone could go and see the empty tomb, many would have known the details. There would have been arguments in the synagogues and the streets...these Jews were not like a lot of Jews today. These were devout Jews who would need a lot to convince them of such a claim. These were intelligent people!
Many converted and gave their lives for this. They were convinced and convicted that Jesus Christ was the Messiah.

Why do you ask the same question twice?
You wrote, "Rev. then why would the Jews be opposed to Jesus and Christians? They did kill both you know."
This is a lie, as any schoolchild knows. It was the Romans who killed Jesus.
The anti-Semites of the world have benefitted for the last 2000 years.
Sad but true.

The Christians gained from the Bible.
The Bible is God's word.
Problem is that Paul and co. being confused and pressurised to provide a documention or guide to the new religion corrupted the word of God by insertions and additions of their pagan beliefs and alterations to the original word of God.
As the centuries passed, the word of God became more and more corrupt, just like gossip changes as the story travels from person to person. Man changed the Bible just as the Torah to a lesser extent was changed to suit the followers.
Today, as an example, we have different versions of the Bible. In South Africa, an White supremisist group has a Bible which states that the black man is inferior to the white man and the only purpose of the blacks is to be slaves to the White man. They will argue this point and say, it's by divine command that they practice racism.

A very good question! We must assume that the Jews were suffering under the yoke of the Roman occupation, so they were looking for a 'Messiah' to lead them to freedom. But we do know that Christianity was used by the authorities through the church like a police force. You have only to cast your mind back to the stories of the Inquisition! People were afraid to have an opinion about anything, especially their church or king or else the Inquisition were knocking on their door! Have a good day.

Absolutely no one.
If one goes back to the very beginning of Christianity, before the Council of Nicea and Constantine, back further than even Hadrian, they'll see that Christianity and Christians were HEAVILY persecuted. The very first instance of persecution took place almost IMMEDIATELY. It's amazing that Christianity even survived!
Early Christians were exiled, stoned, beaten, crucified, imprisoned, ostracized, disowned by their families, and impaled. THEY certainly didn't benefit from it, if it was all false!
Christianity only became a politically-driven force more than two hundred years after it first appeared. The Inquisition, which had NOTHING to do with religion and EVERYTHING to do with land and money, did not occur until more than a thousand years after Christianity first exploded onto the scene.
The earliest believers had everything to lose and nothing to gain if it was false.

Stupid Bible fake answer...hmm.....the greatest literary work in HISTORY is stupid......Playing your silly game and saying that I believe a lie.....lets see....Christians around the world every year contribute BILLIONS fo dollars to helping people they have never seen, and probably never will.
Christians TODAY are still being beheaded for telling someone to follow Jesus' example and love their neighbor.
Christian missionarys have taken their lie and brought civilization to the darkest regions of the earth. BILLIONS of lives have been changed. People have been given HOPE in the darkest time of their lives.
I believe in HOPE when I die. You believe in NOTHING when you die.
so tell me, who benefitted mankind the most?

The Christians gained from it. You see at this time in Judea, the people were greatly upset about Roman rule. Their king has been replaced by someone they hated and he bought off the religious caste by building the great temple.
Who did the people turn to? They were rebelling and disenchanted with religion. Many fringe cults erupted around Jeruselum, many of them were persecuted. If jesus existed then his message of peace must have sounded appealing in a land torn by violence. If he didn't then the various cults became more and more unified, a new judaism that adopted the christ myth as its symbol to create a new movement.

Gee whiz ... Do you not know that the writings can be dated by it's dialect and of it's historical value? There are at least 22 ancient Hebrew dialects alone that the authenticity of it's dates are derived.
Geeze people... how can you assume that question without doing your homework?
