Why not we get accussed of everything else. The other day I read a web site that proclaimed evolution was an atheist /satanic conspiracy to make everyone gay.
A pan handling drunk on the street looked down on me because I wouldn't pray with him and don't go to church.
Many people on R&S have stated that atheists are stupid, don't understand, have no meaning in life....I could go on.
Yes, some atheists on here are rude. I get that but is it okay to make personal assumptions about someone based on disbelief? If you say that your are a Christian/Muslim or Hindu you are identifying what you believe. We can assume that has an affect on the way you view the world.

I'd love to know where this "atheists eat children" thing originated.. it's just appalling.
As a witch, believe me, I can understand how you feel. We're part of your evolutionary conspiracy, you know. We also allegedly infiltrate churches to try and lead people away from christ. We're also satan worshippers, even though we don't believe in satan- according to christians, he believes in us and that's enough.
Stereotyping, sweeping generalizations, et al.. this is what people do when they don't want to understand others. They close their minds off using fear-tactics and what we fear, we destroy.
What I find rather amusing here is that the minute the shoe is on the other foot, you'll find the christians screaming "Don't assume all christians are that way!" or "that person isn't a REAL christian if they behave that way".. I've never heard an atheist claim someone wasn't a real atheist if they behaved badly.

I don't assume the worst about you guys at all. If I did, I wouldn't be able to love my mother-in-law or my husband.

If someone claims to be something, they should walk it out with everything they have in them.
No ones perfect.
everyone is a hypocrate about somehting or another.
all hypocrate means is to wear a mask....and dont we all at times.
but the goal is to walk out who we claim to be with everything we have in us.
It takes greater faith to belive in nothing then something, that lvl of faith is admrable at least to me.
And im a christian saying that.
Sure I want all to be saved. But I know all wont.
Its not our job as christians to thump the word.
Jesus never did that. He just showed love.
Something I strive to do.
I appogize if I showed anything less then that in these forums and i will strive not to anymore.
Note: Who Jesus loves he corrects, since Im christlike I will try to be as much like him as possible.

I know many atheists who are more moral than some who call themselves Christian. Not all of us are complete hedonists-I know I'm not. To assume the worst about us is not only incorrect but insulting.

Atheists do not eat children, but some Catholic Priests have and that's why the Church paid $1.5 Billion in damages.

come on ..they are not stupid....and they are not atheits...atheism meant living without God..not believing God doesn';t exist ..and atheists could manage by themselves..i suppose an atheist doesn't say..'' God help me to pass the exam ''..well i could tell you that atheism is something very relative..and many of them are children and teenagers ...and other who are adults..just don't have time to think about it..well i married my husband and had no idea he is not close to God..and once he said in court he is an atheist (we were divorcing)and after i returned he told me to pray ..if i want to earn those holdings..otherwise we could loose everything..then i prayed he won the holdings..and now he insults God and the church...and thinks that i don't deserve anything from his money...well it is best they i deserved at least to be ***by him..because i cannot call it otherwise..his way of..making love....but i will divorce again , i let him marry a woman who is not stupid and idiot..well if i am so..and daily called so..why does he refuise to divorce..?perhaps i am a too beautiful stupid..and too clever idiot...well i will divorce..and i can hardly wait to remarry..a man who will never call me so..maybe i will find one..

The people that "judge" you like that do not read the same book I do the one that they are proclaiming to read.If tehy are true beilievers then they know that "THEY" will be judged for fo doing the same.

I think it's hilarious that they think morality comes from God.

Only on special occasions - usually very religious ones where people go to church.
However most atheists prefer pork, because it specifically offends certain religions. They will only eat children if their is news media involved.
