You know what is funny is that our prisons are full to the brim with people who caused much less damage to the society than the scourge of Illegal Immigration has done. We have well over 150,000 people in prison in the US at any given time for non-violent drug charges, mostly possession. So what the Federal govt says by granting amnesty, while keeping these people in prison is that a person getting high is more detrimental to a society than someone entering the country illegally, possibly bringing in disease since many countries have diseases common that are almost non-existent in US now.Not to mention, identity theft, tax evasion, welfare fraud, increased violent crime rates etc. But lets give them amnesty and instead fill our prisons with folks that were dumb enough to want to get high, the lack of priorities in this country is ******* mind-boggling. This amnesty is just one more example of how we will be the cause of our own destruction,I swear it's almost like we look forward to destroying our country.

It is just a ticket or a fine. The gov. does not feel like the crime is very serious. So it is just a fine of 5000 bucks and they still have to go back. It just will not be considered a felony or whatever. Like if you get a traffic ticket and just pay the fine, they no longer put points on you. Same idea. Except it is a larger crime.
A DUI is only about a fine of 2000 or less bucks and it is a felony. So they are getting off on the charge, but that is a large fine.
Not like they will pay it anyway, I think they will be able to, at some point, claim that they don't make enough for such a fine. Then everyone will let them get away with that too. And the government will end up having some program to help them pay it-and we will end up paying it for them in the end.

I think that's just about as logical as giving the illegals amnesty. It's such a joke that no one is trying to get them deported. I'd be willing to support a program to deport the illegals but not to feed or house, not to mention educate them.

No, criminals that were already american ctizens should be jailed..
they already had all opportunities available to them that illegals crave for but chose to do crime instead...
illegals are law abiding people but lack the legal right to work..

Just do what the "great" conservative Ronald Reagan did in 1987 when he granted amnesty.
