The best solution is to get a second bowl. The pit does not feel comfortable eating out of the same bowl. If this is not an option feed the dogs at seperate times. Every time the pit brings food into the living room, take the food back to the kitchen. if that fails, lock the dog in the kitchen with a baby gate until it has finished eating. Over time the dog will realize that it must eat in the kitchen.

I have several dogs who do this trick. It is not, at least in my case a bowl issue but a dog issue. My dogs all have their own bowl and some still pick one piece of food at a time and take it somewhere to eat it. I even have a 14 year old Basset Hound who moves her bowl around so she can have privacy to eat at her own pace. I don't know how to stop it and neither did the trainer or the vet, just let them go for it, I think its a lot like eating at the table or watching the game with a plate in your lap.

no,mine does the same thing,i think its some sort of game they play,or mabye from watching you, eating in the front room?if they are well minded and thats the only thing that he does ,then you should just let it go,no big deal,.another thing you can try is not having the food bowel down 24/7.if they are fed at a special time then they might be more hungry to finish the meal,as opposed to picking at it.

Im no expert yet i might say that your pittys are little ones and being canines they're %. orientated amd the yorki being older informed them off and pittys are very emotional canines they seem to get their emotions harm elementary mine does yet bringing food into the region grow to be not an extremely smart pass additionally dont ignore interior the destiny approximately this they wont and the uptight yorki won't be the boss and can desire to get harm pittys are extremely clever and that they wont ignore this little conflict of words attempt and help them appreciate one yet another in the event that they plan on being mutually on a universal foundation and be very careful convey food around a annoying difficulty it might desire to start up a combat over the food. desire it works out for all of you peace

get another food bowl, and move it away from the other dog so they can eat seperatly, sounds like hes guarding the food in his mouth!
