I don't think goth is being cool or uncool. I think it is whatever you want to do. I don't get concerned with it. I know what my beliefs are and I don't need to insult yours..

Its cool to be yourself. If that happens to be goth, fine. But I'm not a fan of Hot Topic goths who think that you can be a certain way just by dressing up.

Many do not understand the meaning of Goth? What does Goth mean to you should be the question.
Heck I know a Goth who is a vampire and buys pints of people's blood and sucks it! Don't believe me? see www.darknessembraced.com
I was referred there to check them out by a goth.
I dont know much about them... but it just seems to be kind of like the punk rockers of the 80.s. Misunderstood perhaps... and a bit strange.

People label me a goth because of the way I dress. I've never been one to follow labels. I don't like to jump into a fad because everyone says its "cool". I have my own style, and if people want to label me, then whatever, I don't care. But its the nasty stereotypes about goths that bother me. We see the world in a different light, and I don't appreciate the constant stereotypes.
I do not get my style from idolizing tv and movie villans. Its the close-minded dumb-@sses that like to think that because deep down, they are afraid of us.

It's cool to be yourself and not follow some sort of delusional stereotype. If you want to be goth for yourself, then fine. If you are just doing it to fit into some social corner of the universe, then you might as well just end your life.

Being a Goth is like being a Hippie or like being a Disco Dancer or like being a Glam Rocker, etc
Each generation comes up with a way to be hip or cool by setting themselves apart from ordinary people in some manner of dress or talk. In the end, what's being cool is having a saving relationship with your Creator through faith in Jesus Christ.

Dress how you choose... For me the whole Goth look isn't really appealing but I am 37...
When I was a teenager we called the Goth look Mod I wore the black clothes, black eyeliner, black lipstick, I shaved half of my head to look like a checker board and dyed my hair black etc. .. It's just a look most people eventually grow out of the Goth phase usually in college...

Gosh yes Batman, Goth is soooo cool.
Goth is as cool as anorexia.
Goth is as cool as kissing open sores on your date's mouth.
Goth is as cool as throwing up when you're drunk.
Goth is as cool as an overflowed toilet at a public rest room.
You go girl. Be goth.

It's akin to reliving old spaghetti westerns and dressing up like bud spencer... But seriously, i like goth music. Peter Murphy Rules!!! It's the outfit and make-up i can't handle... it's just sooo craving for attention. The pale skin on women is a turn-on for me already.
