Ok well as you are probably aware, dogs eat just about anything they can smell and reach.. Basically your dog will clear its own throat, it will take some time but it will get there. If your dog seems worse, like wont eat or drink then there is a problem. Charcoal tablets is always a great thing to have around the house, they will make your dog throw up, but this isnt nessesary just yet,,,,
As i said though having some is great,, for humans (specially if you have small children)and animals, if your dog eats anything it shouldnt and also if it gets hold of some poisons or whatever,,,
Ultimately if you are that worried take your dog to the vet they will check her over and then if they think something is there then they will probably administer Charcoal as well..

Goodluck and try to get your dog to drink and when i had an experience like that i got my dog to run around which caused him to cough and then he cleared his throat..

My Dog Is Choking

If the dog is breating tehn nothing to worry about . once the dog stops breathing do a throat sweep and try to get it out if not then start mouth to snout breathing and try the hymlic manuver on teh dog. If not sure of all this take to the vet and they will be able to help.
Also dogs eat grass due to a upset stomach so watch the dog if there are other problems you don't know about

Are you joking?

Your dog is CHOKING? How about taking her to an emergency vet?? Don't you know that dog's have two parts to their throat - their trachea, which they breath through, and their oesophagus that leads to their stomach. If your dog is choking, making her sick will do nothing, vomit doesn't come up the trachea!

If she has something caught in her oesophagus again, vomiting will not help. It's probably more likely she has a throat irritation than something actually being stuck in there.

GET TO A VET

As long as your dog can still breath okay, it's probably best to leave it alone for a little while. If it still can't get rid of the grass in a couple hours, call the vet and they can advise if something further needs to be done. Dogs usually eat grass to make themselves puke.

I forget the name of it but a roommate of mine had a lab/rott mix and this dog was very strong and used to pull us when we walked her. My roommate went and bought a harness type of thing that had two loops for a leash that went in the front of the dog by her chest, the leash was hooked to both loops and I am not sure how but it made her stop pulling. It worked wonderfully and the dog was a lot easier to walk when she had that harness on. I will see if I can find out what it was called and send you a message when I do.
