I have actually gotten into fights with FRIENDS because i defended myself when they made a racist comment. I am white and they were black and hispanic. They also said that black and hispanic poeple CAN'T be racist.

I'm saying they used racial terms towards me. When I did it back to them they got mad and called me racist.

It is not. The "reasons" I've heard for certain racist comments range from:nothing to, "Did white people suffer through years of slavery and discrimination?" I hate it and do not see any of the reasons as being good enough, but unfortunately this will continue until the next cultural revolution.

Not only can black and hispanic people be racist, they have made it socially acceptable for them to be racist. Think of Malcolm X- He preached hate against the white man. Bill Cosby is even racist against the blacks- Have you EVER heard him say even 1 good thing about black people?

This phenomenon is referred to as the diode theory of racism. In other words, racism is conducted one way only. Therefore if you sue somebody who, for arguments sake, is white on the basis of him/her referring to a black person as a ni99er the damages should be less for the black person than if a white person was called a ni99er, because in the latter case the statement is substantially untrue. If a black refers to another black as a ni99er, there are accordingly no damages because the statement is substantially true.

Bill Cosby isnt racist against black people. He pointed out the problems with the black community.
Race jokes dont bother me at all! All people can be racist. You dont want to fight with your friends, you are better off keeping your mouth shut!

and they are wrong. Anyone can be racist regardless of color or background, all it takes is bigotry.
