He made it possible for you to be forgiven. It was not done so that His mercy could be abused. people have to take responsibility for their own actions as well.

You are correct when you say Jesus paid our price for our sins. Jesus is God in the flesh who lived a perfect life. The purpose of judgement day is for God to punish the wicked ,who did not except Jesus, to a eternal punishment in hell. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God does not want us to perish. He wants us to repent and turn from our wicked ways. Just because someone says they are a christian does not mean they are. I just want to know, if Jesus paid the price of sins and crimes of Christians, what about the people who where before Jesus..
guys wake up, and look around, god doesn't need son, or any partner or any one to take the sins from people, God Mercie is in everywhere to every body.
Jesus is only a prophet like the others, and I do respect Jesus and love him more that my self, family, and any other normal human(not prophet)

Jesus took the eternal punishment due for our sins upon himself on the cross. Jesus did NOT change the natural law of cause and effect in space and time. Our actions still have real consequences in the here and now. If you do the crime, you still must serve the time!

I agree completely with Silver.
However, everyone, including so-called Christians, seem to think it's easy to be a Christian, and it's obvious you think this.
Yes, I believe in Christ; yes, I am saved; yes, I will be raptured; and no, I will not suffer doomsday, as you call it. But I do suffer daily in my walk in the world but not because of God, or my Lord Jesus Christ; but because of the world and human nature.
Obviously you have not read the story of Jesus or you would know that His Own will be raptured and not go through the Great Tribulation Period. I encourage you to read the Gospel please. Read, learn and understand the true meaning of Christianity, and having a personal relationship with Christ Jesus. You'll never regret it, I promise.

Yes, Jesus paid the price for our sins. That does not mean our sins will not rear us discipline. God shows his love by correcting us and/or using discipline to bring us to where he wants us to be. what does a good father do when he sees his child straying away from the right path to go his own way? he brings him back by means of discipline. now discipline can come in many forms depending on the seriousness of the offense. if a child is never disciplined [or suffers consequence for his wrong action], he will never learn what is right. if God did not allow consequences, we would not learn from our mistakes and change our ways. God only disciplines those who are his and he does this out of love for us, not to harm us or tear us down.

Suffering brings is closer to Christ. Suffering is a blessing, we are like a sword that gets stronger each time it is tempered with fire. But God doesn't give people AIDS or other diseases, that is only a sad aspect of the human condition. God only allows as much suffering as we can withstand with His Grace.
(I've had three horrible spinal recontructive/fusion surgeries, so I'm quite familiar with suffering, btw)

The laws of sin apply to the flesh.
Saved or lost.
To really answer your question in the light
of things sin is the reason people turn to Jesus, to know what it is to turn from its
afflictions...
Ever heard people say the only time they pray for help is when their really in trouble.
Jesus is perfect for sniffing out the origins of sin in our lives so we can kill
sin at its root.
The beautiful thing about Jesus in this life,
he listens to the afflicted and he sets them free through understanding.
The truth will set you free....ever heard that?
Hope this helps.

dont fool yourself, Jesus will not wash your sins away. These sins will always come back to haunt you. You do not really need Jesus to tell you what is right and what is wrong. You already know it.
Unfortuantely Christians believe in this fairyTale that Jesus will be blamed for their wrongdoings. This is why they keep supporting the Iraq war even when everyone else said stop the war. They believe Jesus will help them and that they see it as Christianity triumphing over other religions. Too bad.

Hello and lets get our facts steight okay in The Book of Job in the first chapter satan asks permission to attack Job, then tells God that not only is he satan going to attack Job but God is going to get blamed for it, hay satan does NOT need your help in doing that he is doing a good job by himself, in John 3:16 and 14:15 "For God [The Father] "SO" Loved you that He gave [Jesus The Second member of The Godhead gave Himself] that WHOSOEVER, including aids, hepatitis, and you and me "IF" we will but Love Him enough to keep His commandments [not suggestions] we will not perish but have everlasting life, Now Rev.20:6 and 21:8 tells us that those who refuse to accept the conditions upon which this eternal life is offered will have to suffer eternal death, [the EFFECTS of Hell is forever NOT the fire itself] find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

Jesus died to atone for the sins of all mankind. We as Christians are called to be "imitators of Christ", to pick up and carry our own cross, and practice what he taught in our daily lives.
Yes, Christ died in atonement for our sins, but we still have to repent of them personally and individually, and maintain a holy and grace-filled life. Jesus' sacrifice for us on the Cross opened up the gates of heaven and eternal life for us, which were previously closed due to the sin of Adam, and the subsequent stain of original sin cast upon mankind due to Adam's sin. We still must voluntarily accept Christ as our personal Savior, and renounce immorality and worldliness.
