Frag, ur answer seems illogical. Would u clarify? Re: ur 'pot' comment. In common law, there has to be an injured party. A man or woman has to have a 'claim' against u. So how does 'pot' penalty come under common law?

Principle of equity is the law applicable to the traffic ticket because the same kind of violations must be meted with the same penalties.

Common law is applicable to pot for it is prohibited as a practice in most countries.
