Remind them now that the 2008 elections are just around the corner if they still want to keep their cushy jobs. Also inform them that We The People are the power and backbone of this country. They were voted in to speak for us. Not to cheat us, or sell us out. At any cost, and certainly not for any price to other people from other countries. I am referring to the outsourcing of jobs as well as to the illegals that are here. The war in Iraq, and the North American Union.

Those who remember when government shut down by going on strike and caused problems?... Well the American people can hurt them far more than they did to us by going on national strike.

You can only be talking about all the Democrats that made all them promises to get elected. They are in now, and you can only wait and vote them right back out. We need to vote all out that has been there to long, anything over four years needs to be replaced with new faces, NAMES and ideas. That is what we should do to them, and probably the only way to punish them for not upholding their oath.

I don't think "should" is the word. "Will" is more like what we would do to elected officials for not upholding their oath to us. For presidents can get impeached for malfeasence, and congress decides their fate, governors get recalled, . If a congressman gets caught with malfeasence, they can be arrested, charged, and get recalled as well. There are different procedures for different elected officials.

Because you live in a democracy the only avenue si the voting booth to rid our government of those who refuse to vote the way we ask them to.

Once in office an official is difficult to remove without cause. If fifty percent of the people want the officail because he puts money in thier pocket and the other half dosen't want the official because he won't put money in their pocket you have a stand off.

Greed and power are mighty powerful drugs, I have yet to meet and official who didn't have both.

Breach of contract must be filed against the official who did not fullfill their promise to work for the people. Politicians must be obliged to sign for their promises and if they fail, they must be castigated for the breach.

isn't it why we pay them the enormous greenbacks? Their finished reason for preserving their place in our government is to uphold our shape, and to guard us from foreign places powers. they're meant to be making particular that our rules & shape are being accompanied, not upload or do away with from it. individually, i think of each and every new regulation further to our society might desire to be voted on formerly passage. after all, all of us might desire to pay for those new rules, so shouldn't we vote on them? because of the fact our legislators now not characterize us, i think of we'd desire to consistently step up and take duty. our legislators characterize people who've the main greenbacks or have the loudest mouths, which isn't the final public throughout this usa. i think of that each and every representative in each and every state might desire to enable each and every citizen to vote on each and every bill formerly this is exceeded (or not) in congress. that could desire to be a central authority for & by the human beings. do not you think of that they had bypass plenty much less junk in the event that they knew we've been all voting on each and every new bill? in the event that they knew we've been reading each and every little bit of what they have been pondering for passage, they may be fairly much less frivolous with our money. they might even might desire to be slightly extra ingenious with how they prefer to spend our money too, certainly being slightly extra considerate approximately each and every greenback they prefer to spend. individually, i don't think of our legislators understand a thank you to stand on their very own 2 ft anymore, and stand against the team. they look extra petrified of what their acquaintances think of of them than those human beings who pay their salaries. they're certainly performing very reminiscent of our very own young little ones...peer tension making them pass against expertise, or perhaps the guidelines of the land. They throw warning to the wind and do what feels solid. hello, that feels like Hollyweird! yet their state keeps voting them in. What does that say approximately us? Hmmm...<*)))><
