Hi ya Rob e....

My best advise is to not jump in, just take your time and find the right car for you....

I used to work as a car sales person, and found the best and most honest reviews are to be found on TOP GEAR SITE http://www.topgear.com/search/Ask?webJsp=%2Fjsp%2FaskWebResults.jsp&siteJsp=%2Fjsp%2FaskSiteResults.jsp&errorJsp=%2Fjsp%2FaskSearchError.jsp&q=reviews&searchType=site&x=0&y=0
Good Luck and I hope you find the ideal car for you....

Good Luck

Car review sites I recommend:

Consumer Guide:
http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/

Edmunds.com
http://www.edmunds.com/carreviews.html

Epinions.com (user reviews, so your mileage may vary)
http://www.epinions.com/auto?tab=1

carsurvey.com (another user review site)
http://carsurvey.com
