typically, no. an international student cannot get any federal grants or loans and you will have a difficult time getting a private loan to pay for your education...unless you can have a coborrow that lives in the US sign that loan for you. So no, you will have to pay for it all on your own. The only difference is a PhD program. A PhD program will give funding for anyone, american or international. if you are looking for a bachelor's or master's, then you have to pay.

First thing you need a co-signor.Otherwise almost impossible if you are not a US resident. . If you have any welwisher who can sign as co-signor on your behalf then he can get a loan for you.Otherwise no US institution will give you loan. I heard each university has its aid dept. SO contact them and ask for help. Try with salemao

And in case your not going to america...

Most countries wont give you a VISA unless you can prove how much you have in your bank (self sustainable) so really you cant expect to get any help from the government at all unless its your own.
