why do parents are very concerned about the hair style?

i like to have different hair styles but they always tell me cut my hair ,so when i am out of my home i like to grow my hair ,but it is very difficult to convince them, what can i dooo?

If your not living with them then you can do what you like, they might not like it but as long as your happy, but if your still under their roof and under 18 then you are really going to have a hard time convincing them that you like how you look even though it is still your choice, while your under their roof its their rules of play.
