Why were so many religions created by the same divine?

Question

The world has witnessed crusades,hindu-muslim dangas and so on,for centuries.I have a question why did the messengers of the same divinty create so many religion which ultimately leads to one truth.This results in feelings of inferiority and superiority among the same children of the same god,what the reason behind this?

i know i am an ignorant person and that's the reason i asked the question and not answer.On the contrary to your answer,You saw it was founded by PEOPLE who wanted to preach god's word,but dont you the same people beleive jesus,the founder of christianity as the son of god,carrying his father's will to create christianity,as well islam beleives Mohammed,was the prophet of god who carried the lord's will to create islam.So thus isn't it clear to you that creating all these religions were the lord's will according to their different founders.

I dont think i need to be well versed with the bible coz i already have read my religious scripture well,and if i am not very wrong,then i guess all the religious scriptures have a general concept.
By the way i dont think,my question hurts the sentiments of anyone,that i shudnt post this question here in yahoo,if i did pliz edit your question,and type in which way it is inliable to post it here.

Single eye do you mean that all religions have different instructions,i mean,dont all of them opt for the truth and honesty and gives loves priority over hatred?Doesnt in all religion it refers to the one god concept.

Hi,
A good Question
It is like this, In a competition U have given some vegetables and ur neighbour the same amount of everything given to you, so u prepare a curry and ur neighbour some other.
After the preparations out of some of the Judges think u r good and some that ur neighbour is good.
If they agree upon 1 answer its good if not.
In the same way God said a good person to teach some thing to the rest, so they live in happiness and without any fights.
This good person starts teaching and preaching and there will be followers to him after his death that group of followers were divided into 2 some think right and some think left.
After some centuries the 2 will be four and so on thats the main reason You have these many numbers of religions.
I really dont know which was first and which came second but all the religions are man made for their benefits.

God/ess alledgedly reveals their selves to the Founder(s), and the Founder and his followers soon want to add things from their culture to it: add irrelevant traditions, and entities that may have been worshipped before to make it more palatable to the hoi-polloi, borrow traditional holy days as their own, put their stamp or spin on things, and generally change what they don't like to gain a monopoly over divine access - because they believe they have the keys to the One and Only, patent pending, True Way, and if any differing beliefs gain a hold on their followers, they may lose the power and money a monopoly gives.

So, most priesthoods mediate between what they believe is the divine, and the poor smucks who believe what they're told -- who have been taught that this is the only 'One and True Way!' they have to access the numinous ;-Þ..

However, it could be that the Founder's promoters borrowed material from those who experienced the divine directly, and used what they learned to gain power over others, either for themselves or their rulers. Thus, directly experiencing the divine becomes a heresy! There are always those who want to be mediators, or buffers, between the divine and the populance. So, they have a personal, financial, and direct interest in whats "True" and what isn't.

Most people would rather get a quick fix anyways, so they listen to, and pay, the self-appointed experts rather than seek get knowledge through direct experience - for that might be too scary, or take too much time and anger alot of the dreaded neighbors (or "others"). Caveat Emptor! (Let the buyer beware)

God sent three major Abrahamic faiths to man - Judiasm, Christianity, & Islam. All those three teach the same beliefs & concepts, but the practices were all done in slightly different ways, each which suits its time & people. When Christianity came, Jews were asked to follow it as it is the continuity of their religon, yet many whom which changed their holy Torah & religon did not - same goes to when prophet Muhammed was sent with the message of Islam - some Christians & Jews followed, others refused. In the end, those 3 religons are the same in basics, have the same God (created of the universe & everything, the great & divine) , & the only one of them which wasnt amended by man is Islam.

So Religions formed based on these by Ancient elders with an ultimate aim to respect Almighties accordingly.

This disagreement has caused the death of 100 million people from religion/sectarian violence. You know a big fruit tree, when bears the fruits the branches of the tree are in danger and to keep these and also tree & fruit intact we give support of bamboos / logs to the branches, similarily the religion, religions are the support to the fruit of "humanity" in human societies.
The divinities (the personnel of centuries "yugpurus") charted religions to lead balanced living and peacful progression of not only human kind but of total creatures in the Nature. It is we who do not follow system as it had been proggramed .

Who told you the divine created so many religions.

The divine has given us the universe and you have to make your own choices and live your own life. Why do you think the divine made all these contradictory religions?

I dont think the divine is so dangerous that the divine sits and watches us fight amongst ourselves.

The divine does not choose for you. You have to make the choice whether you want to follow this or that and believe me all paths do not lead to the divine.

And what mkes you think there is only one divine? Maybe there are more of those creators out there and are causing the problems. I dont think Ishwar made islam.

I will brief it here. A king wanted to build a road to heaven. At that time all humans were united. so they started to bulid them. But finally the whole thing was unsuccessful. Learning human intelligence is dangerous. God made many sects of man. All the sects left in their own way. Thus unity was split.

Why he did that or I got it all wrong or there is a plenty of benifit in being united. Plenty to think before concluding. Hope this can aid u to something.
