I say it sounds like something made up or taken out of context, or it's him trying to get more publicity. I'd have to see that alleged article.

A. Please quote source .... ie .... which date and page of the sunday times.
B. Where did sunday times get the quote from?
C. He is a free man, he can believe or not believe anything he likes, what has that got to do with atheist?
D. Rebroadcast a false statement can be classified as defamation. If this dawins guy did not say such thing, and if there is indeed a sunday times that publish this, the sunday times and those who rebroadcast the statement can be sued for defamation.

I say we need to hear what issue, page, and paragraph this supposedly appeared in. Sounds like another example of the religionist's habit of quoting from context, like they do from their book of fairy tales. Without supporting evidence or at least a link to the story, sorry, Sparky, but I'm not buying it.

Mary did not vouch for a spook, or ghost or spirit of Jesus but a LIVE Jesus. What they could not believe was that the Master was ALIVE!

According to the Book of Jonah, Jonah was ALIVE, when we expected him to be DEAD;
similarly when we expect Jesus to be DEAD, he should be ALIVE AND NOT CRUCIFIED.
Qur’an 4:157: "That they (Jews) said boasting, "We killed Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah, but they (Jews) killed him not, nor crucified him..."
