What makes your credit scores go up, and how often do they item to the credit bureau?

I only know how to recover from bad credit, but I've just done it and now I have to start getting a credit card or 2 and start charging and paying on time etc. and the more I do this, the higher my score will go. I will only charge things I would always buy like grocries and meds and stuff that is on my budget so I can pay for sure on my fixed retired small income. But Identity Guard worked with me for $12.90 a month and I think the first few months were free and they are so so good, they actually have a person who answer the phone !!!!!
