I know a few attractive girls who never dated in high school, and I never thought it weird, but a few of my friends think it's odd that I haven't had a boyfriend. I never really wanted to go out with anybody and am actually afraid of actually telling a boy i like him and starting a relationship. Is that weird?

Not at all, and there's nothing wrong with you! I only had my first boyfriend after my final exams... of course I had periods of unrequited lust haha, but I guess the guys that did like me were never good enough, so I wanted to wait until I really liked a guy until I had a relationship.
Everyone is different, and if you want to get these girls off your back just tell them none of the guys you know are good enough for you!

No, from never having a g/f in HS, I can relate.
I didn't think after getting diabetes my sophmore year, & spending all of spring break in the hospital... there would be any girl who would want anything to do with me.
20 yrs later, it isn't any easier...... my ex couldn't take it.... even though she said she could handle it. What a load of ****, 2 sons, & 6 yrs for nothing that was.

NOOOOOOO. Nothing wrong in it. Just live the way you feel like. Having or not having a boyfriend in highschool doesnt make any substential difference in life.

Psh, nah -- I never had a real 'girlfriend' in highschool. In fact, I'm 21, and I've still never had a long-term relationship. After highschool, it seems less abnormal; I'm in no particular rush to alter my situation.

not at all!! you will be fine! I'm 31 now but never dated anyone in HS. I am also very shy (worse for the guy), but I haven't had any problems since HS.

nopp. it's oki if u don't have any bf when u in high school. i don't have any. but i found my true love after i finish my high school. now our friendship is almost 3years. u'll find someday to. just be patient.
