Yes, you definitely can. Be sure that your salon practices appropriate sanitation; if this sort of infection happens more than once 1) find a new salon and 2) report the old one to the health department!

Where else would you go? I got one last week and it was wonderful. I think you can tell about the cleanliness of a place before you even sit down. You might have to do a little searching and find out where your friends or family go. I think there are a lot of nice salons out there. I definitely couldn't do a better at-home job!

yes...you could get some fungal infections easily and even from the person giving the pedicure if she's infected with some skin disease.

absolutley. they can use not pure antibacterial cleaner because its cheap for them... also they are supposed to clean between clients (ALL their tools) AND not reuse certain files and whatnot. I personally went to a shop and noticed they did this and i left. you can find what salons should be doing on the state cosmetology licensing board website.

you could, if theyre not keen on hygiene
ideally the equipment used should be sterilized so as to be free from germs but we all know some shops cut corners.
better you do it yourself its cheaper and you could minimize infection and because it is you thats doing the cutting and the pushing , pain and injuries are minimized.

fungal spores from nail clippings and burring procedures can result in lung fungal infection,nail fungus(might take months for it to show),,,,the place has to observe state regs about ascepsis in doing business,,,,,,,besides fungus theres 30 kinds of bacteria that can cause skin infection ,,,,,,,

hi, yes you can get very nasty infections

If they re use towels and dont disinfect them you can ger a bacterial skin infection

when you go please make sure to ask them to give you a frsh towel and see to it that you carry your own Pumic stone and other things you will need to invest in a pedicure set that way it wiil be your stuf they use

yes you can. if things like nail files and nail clippers haven't been properly dissinfected., stuff like fungus can easily be past on. eewwwww!
