Man's nature is evil "since" the fall. Freewillie. How convenient.
When man needs intervention, a prayer is needed to oppose the free will he was endowed with. A being that is omnipotent doesn't know what will happen, giving a lower life form free will, give me a break.

Up all night night, it's past your bedtime, precious. I'm clear, little man.
I'm alone?, but you must answer me. You are addicted to me, but I like women. I would like to say I understand, but you're kinda creepy.

Nice to know that the real christians start their replies with insults. They can't even forgive a question that doesn't cause them any harm in their daily life. You fools will burn by your own foolishness, I have spoken.

kaehya2003-Yes, I'm grasping. You need me so much to type your intellect, when tomorrow, you will go about your electronic world. Listening to your ipod, ignoring the homeless man you step over. I thought I asked the question? Now, a screw like you, tells me I'm grasping at my own question?
I'll bet your mother, or wife, still makes your bed for you, that's THEIR job, ain't it. Demoralize someone else, who can't defend themselves boy. You don't stand up to MEN, who have a pair.

Your grasping at isolated points in the concept and using them to ridicule something you don't entirely understand. Prayer is less about informing God about a need than teaching an arrogant, self-absorbed human and providing a means of communication with God who knows the best way for us to handle situations. Free will is necessary if God is going to be God. Otherwise He would just be a manipulating, control freak or enabler. That would make Him less than perfect. God never said we were lower life forms. That's an assumption you make because you have to believe God is an arrogant and abusive being so you can ridicule the idea of a God.

Are you an idiot?
"When man needs intervention, a prayer is needed to oppose the free will he was endowed with..."
He must use his free will to make the decision about whether or not to pray at all. You're right that God already knows what will happen in our lives, but we still have to have the opportunity to make our own decisions and determine the outcome of our lives for ourselves.
Obviously, using your free will, you have decided not to pray. God already knew that you would make that choice, but he had to give you the opportunity to choose, so that you can be judged according to your actions in this life.
Don't think you've discovered some philosophy that shatters Christianity, because you haven't.

Both the structure of your question and the question itself is truly....amazing. With that said what would lead you to think that by God allowing us to partner with him as far as his work goes on earth, that this is a sign of him needing us or of him not being omnipotent?

Of course god needs men to protect him, and they do so by believing there is a God, because once people stop believing in the existence of any God, this God will vanish.

God knows exactly what will happen. We pray becausse God intends for prayer to be the means of obtaining His solutions in a number of situations. lack of prayer demonstrates the a lack of faith and a lack of trust in God’s Word. We pray to demonstrate our faith in God, that He will do as He has promised in His Word, and will bless our lives abundantly more than we could ask or hope for.. Prayer is our primary means of seeing God work in others' lives. Because it is our means of "plugging into" God's power, it is our means of defeating Satan and his army that we are powerless to overcome by ourselves.

And this is why people are atheists, they do not have the intelligence to find solutions to these kinds of questions, which, in their mind, means there is no God.

umm number one, i don't really understand the question! but God gives us free will so we are not all robots. God wants everyone to be with him in Heaven, and if you don't believe in Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, than you will be in Hell.
