Also, use them veeeery frequently, at least two times a day! #2: Concealer and Make-up- This is a last resort because after you take it off you acne will double because of the irrataion! #3:Don't touch or Pick at your face what so ever! FAQ: The way you eat DOES NOT help your acne go away so don't go on any special diet for just this purr pose!

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Proactiv has worked for many a friend. I know people who swear by it! You should definitely give it a try..they have a money back guarantee if it doesn't work for you. That may help with petitioning your parents to help you out financially.
Also, make sure that you're sticking with whatever product you decide to use for at least a good two months. BE PATIENT! And don't forget to use every step of the system..no skipping around.
Remember...sometimes you need to invest a little bit of money into these things that are important to you. That doesn't mean that a higher priced item will guarantee great results, but really try not to avoid a product that you know will work just because it's a little more expensive than another. You want to fix this acne problem before it gets worse.
Oh, and last but not least..(definitely not least..this may be the most important)...look at what your diet includes. What you put into your body sure as heck affects the way your skin reacts.
Good luck! You'll be fine in no time!

Sometimes low-dose antibiotics help, but not always. Tea tree oil deep cleans your skin and dries it out to some degree, but it will not take away acne scarring. Only a Dr can do that with skin resurfacing. If your acne is severe, which it sounds like it is, you should stick with your dermatologist. He knows best. When you look up the side effects of meds, they tend to look scary. Drug companies have to list every possible thing to protect themselves from lawsuits, but many of those side affects happen only rarely. I worked for a 3 Dr practice for 20yrs and have seen Accutane work wonders for teens and adults as well. While it is expensive, it is much cheaper than skin resurfacing as an adult, and a lot less painful.

Well if you have tried all of the OTC products, then there is a high possibly that proactiv will not work either, because proactiv did not work for my skin. The ONLY OTC product that I have purchased that ACTUALLY WORKED, is Clean and Clear Advantage acne spot treatment. It is really helping my skin without making it dry or break out worse. Also, if you have already tried that product but it didnt work for you, then I have heard of one natural remedy from seventeen magazine that makes your skin really soft and is supposed to clear up acne. All you have to do is mix 1/4 cup brown sugar and 3tbsp. of milk, and use it just as if you were washing your face.
Well, I hope this answer was of help to you!!! =)

We have found that acne in general responds well to a home remedy taught to me by a friend from Guatemala:
At night before bed, pour about a Tbsp of sugar into the palm of your hand and add just enough lemon juice to make a paste. Massage the paste in a circular motion (not too hard, you don't want to abrade the skin!) over the affected areas to slightly exfoliate. Then, let the paste sit for about 30 seconds, rinse off and pat dry. Do this each night. For my son's very oily and football/baseball-sweat aggravated acne we switch the sugar to salt.
I can honestly tell you that he notices improvement the very first morning when he does this.
Hope this helps! At least it's not expensive to try : )

cheap ways are to put small daps of toothpaste on the pimples before u go to bed or when u come home from school. Wash ur face in the morning and before bed with soap or face wash to take away oils. The more washing the better. Put some non oily cream on ur face if it gets to dry from the soap. You can only prevent scars from occuring you cannot remove them cheaply. They will eventually naturally blend into ur skin. Most if not all of the less expensive acne products out there are just drying ur skin, so u might as well use normal soap or facewash.

I used to have acne and fortunatly I wasn't left to scared (physically)
I tried millions of different things but unfortunatly not much works.
I found that swimming in the sea a lot helped me.
I think that was because of the saltwater.
Because I don't live near the sea I soaked my face in salt water in a bowl. It helped a little.
One other thing I did was I got a sink full of water (as hot as you can take it (be careful) and I soaked my face in the sink for 20 seconds at a time for about 2 minutes. This keeps your pours clean and makes open cuts and wound heal easily and leaves your skin soft after doing it for a few days.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL.
just trust me don't do it.
I found for fixing tiny scars this cream made by Johnson and Johnson ( I can't remember the name) helped.
Its very cheap.
Just try to keep your face clean. Being heathly and having a good diet helps.

If you are a female try Ortho Tri Cyclen, the birth control. I went on it because the Dr. was going to put me on Accutane, but the birth control cleared my acne up. You can get birth control from Planned Parenthood for free. I would recommend it. It worked wonders for me.
