I has worked at a pet shop for years... my dog has never once had fleas while using this product ... 1 tablet for every ten pounds of body weight....Brewers Yeast is known as nature’s wonder food, a name that it certainly deserves. It is an excellent source of all the major B vitamins (except B12). It also contains other vitamins, sixteen amino acids and fourteen or more minerals. Brewer Yeast is great call your local pet shop or call you vet and ask them if you don't trust me....

Brewer's Yeast is an 'ol' time recipe' back in the day....Check with your local pet store because they still carry the product but make sure you use it as directed. Take precaution when using and OTC product.
I personally am not a fan because there are safer products you can use that won't interfere in the bloodstream or digestive tract.
So be aware.

Brewers yeast is all the stuff left over from making beer, would you want to eat it? Try using a topical preventative, that is applied to the skin, it won't enter the bloodstream and is much safter for the pet.

Hi!

I am a vet tech at a feline only animal hospital. Someone will call and ask me this question at least once a week.

Brewers yeast doesn't work. I know you probably want to do the most natural and healthy things for your cat, but it just doesn't really work. Use Advantage.

Oh why. Whhhhyyyy???

Why give your cats this? Why not use something that will actually work - i.e a treatment from your vets?! Yes I know it's expensive - that's because it works and is safe, and you can get professional dosage advice!

NEVER accept dosage advice for ANYTHING from online! How do you know where this advice might be coming from? Could be a maniac!

DO NOT ever do something like this without asking a veterinarian first! Home remedies can be dangerous and sometimes fatal if used improperly on animals.

I gave my dog 1 tablespoon per 2 cups of food per day. He loves the way it taste and has NEVER had a flea. We do not use any flea/tick shampoos, drops or collars.
