I was in the place where my mother used to live and this gray butterfly kept perching on my finger. I shooed it away but it kept coming back? Does anyone know if this is some kind of a message or omen? Is it good or bad?

Ok, something has recently happened in your life that affects your emotions only, being male, you naturally have a trial at dealing with this properly.

A butterfly is a symbol of freedom whereas the color gray (pending on shade) posses very deep thoughts and intuitiveness. Your intentions right now are severely unclear as to how you're going to choose to digest current events. At this point, friends and family whom you're closest to would be a huge help if you would just "let it out" but stray from the male who has hurt most and mention to your best friend that secrete you've been holding in for years k?

The Gray Butterfly is telling you, it's all good, just face it and all will be fine in the end...........

All the Best, Shad @)~>~

Is your mother still living. If not perhaps it was her spirit come back in butterfly form saying hello and offering comfort. Or the spirit of another departed relative who lived there that had taken on the body of a butterfly. My late grandma bunny had a saying, "where there's butterflies there's love" so perhaps the butterfly was an omen of love. or you have very strong animal magnetism. those are all likely possibilities, though I think the most likely one is that it was an omen of love.

I had a fight with a family member and went out in the grove of our farm and wept and wept and a butterfly came and landed on my arm, flew away and did this 3 times.I believe it was from God to give me comfort. I have since read about the same type of thing in either Guidepost or Reader's Digest. Nothing is impossible with our loving God.

You will get many reasons why this might happen, but I think that type of thing only happens when you are not percieved as a natural threat. If it trusts you that much, you must be a very good person... Or you smell like food. LOL Either way, you're ok.

I think there was something smeared on your finger that the butterfly liked it so much, maybe you brushed your finger against some pollen while walking?

Maybe you had honey on your finger or it was in some other way delicious to butterflies.

This would make sense if you had either touched flowers recently or if you were wearing a flowery perfume or cologne. They like the sweetness of it.
